Severance is one of my favorite Apple TV shows but it didn’t have anything released this year, this video was recapping stuff from this year. But January 17th season 2 😁👍
Slow Horses deserved to be much higher on the list, definitely in the top 5. And while Sugar started out intriguing, the awful ending just ruined the entire show. You are correct that Silo deserves the #1 spot.
I honestly didn’t have them ranked here, I was just including all of the best options but I do agree Silo is the top option hands down and yeah Slow Horses is not the lowest either. 😁👍
The only problem with Slow Horses is that there are not enough episodes in each series. The characters are so interesting and engaging I would watch a few episodes about them living their lives away from the office without worrying about the plot progressing.
My man! I was just searching my Apple TV app for something! For all mankind is probably one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Time to check out something new.
You are welcome! 😁😁 Silo is awesome with great mysteries and such but I love Shrinking for that exact reason. It just makes you happy, makes me feel the exact same way I feel when I watch Ted Lasso! ❤️
Hmm not sure if my original comment saved or what have some bad signal where I’m at today but thanks for watching and glad you got some good options to check out 😁👍
I agree 🫶 I really enjoy it, but I enjoy both genres they explore as well as Colin Farrell in it a lot so sometimes I can’t tell if I’m biased or it’s a good show 😂
Silo is great, slow horses is my fav. Dying for chapter 5. Disclaimer made clinch my jaws, I felt her anxiety. Good watch but hard to watch, acting was so good .
WHile I agreed with each of your choices here... I liked slow horses the best. Since I"m a huge gary oldman fan, it was an easy choice. They are all good choices however.
I also recommend Severance and Invasion. The latter starts off very very slow, but once you get to the 4th episode, it seems to get its legs. Sunny is pretty funny although a bit quirky.
Perfect time of your to binge! Hope you found something that works for you, if not I just put out a dystopian list -> EPIC Dystopian Worlds: 20 TOP Series You NEED To Check Out th-cam.com/video/vvjdJ07EMpw/w-d-xo.html
I've been watching Silo, But Dark Matter and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters are on my "to watch" list. Also might check out Slow Horses and Sugar. Happy Holidays to you (and yours) by the way!
my favorites are Silo, Bad Sisters, and Shrinking. They are all great but if I' to choose one, I'll go for shrinking because it has ore comedy and Jason Segel really killed it.
100% they have been crushing it and 2024 they even increased the volume and quality didn’t seem to drop off IMO. I can really only think of a handful that are ehh and most are really early on when they just started producing shows.
@@TheBingeList99 I'm new to your channel, literally today a new member. But just in case you missed it - Into The Bad Lands is pretty good. A few years old now, and I get why you keep current. But well worth watching.
@ thanks for joining in! I appreciate it. Also great recommendation, love Into the Badlands. I even included it on my best dystopian shows list -> EPIC Dystopian Worlds: 20 TOP Series You NEED To Check Out th-cam.com/video/vvjdJ07EMpw/w-d-xo.html
Yes, having loved My Lady Jane and being a fan of The Mighty Boosh, I thought I'd like Dick Turpin but sadly I found it unbearable. Just the wrong sort of silly for me I guess.
Monarch Legacy of Monsters - started watching but then eventually just fast forwarded to the parts with monster action. The human storylines were boring.
I probably would have switch out Palm Royal in place of Presumed Innocent. I just thought that Presumed Innocent had some of the worst writing of 2024 the story felt very dated and absurd. I guess since it was based on on one of those cheesy court room airport novels that get churned out I guess it did what it was supposed to. Ruth Negga was a stand out though.
Palm Royale was actually my 16th pick, I did think it was funny and has a quality cast but the pacing was my big issue with it. Definitely worth watching!
I certainly hope not, I have that same fear with almost any show with a compelling mystery! Lost scarred us all lol 😂😂The one I’m the most worried about is the show From.
@@TheBingeList99 I didn't watch Lost -was waiting to binge it when I stopped hearing it was all unresolved and then it ended badly so I didn't bother. BSG got me and then I heard how they sat around before the final season and decided not to use all the setup they'd done because that would be 'obvious'
Silo, Masters of the Air, and For All Mankind are all very good. Goes to show what you can do with good acting and a compelling story. Monarch Legacy of Monsters was pretty good too. Had my doubts, but it's not bad and you don't need to be a Godzilla fan to enjoy it.
Silo. Such a stupid show. Firstly the silos would all have include a simple traction/counter-weight elevater. The Romans had them you know. Then no matter happened to force the humans underground, weather and plate tectonics would still happen. Bad Monkey is endless hours of the very talented Vince Vaughn, but it gets old after a while. You had better love Vince Vaughn. Disclaimer is well shot and acted, but there isn't anyway the dead son's mother could have known the things written in that book. Blamchett's character is the only person who could have known, and once you realize that, the whole thing falls apart. You won't get those hours back. Presumed Innocent is good. The actors are able to overcome a small bit of bad writing. This story was written before cell phone & vehicle technology was utilized though, and so you just need to ignore that, otherwise the story falls apart, so don't you be thinking about any of that stuff. Pachinko is just beautifully shot. You're going to want to have an understanding of the centuries old Japan/ Korea conflict to fully feel the tension of this story though. Dark Matter is a good show, full of very selfish people. Imagine you make the biggest discovery in human history, but you keep it to yourself so you can get the girl you always wanted. Look. Apple TV shows might have these grand scenarios, but really none of that matters because all of their shows are about only one thing. Human want, jealousy, avarice, and greed. All of the conflict is derived from the humans undermining one another. Just so you know. However Apple TV shows have good acting, high production values, and descent writing, and absolutely no overdubbing. P.S. For All Mankind works because it takes place in an entirely made-up alternative history.
What series did you forget to catch up on in 2024 on APPLE TV PLUS??

How about Palm Royale?
I liked Palm Royale! Definitely a solid option!
Severance was one I would add
Severance is one of my favorite Apple TV shows but it didn’t have anything released this year, this video was recapping stuff from this year. But January 17th season 2 😁👍

I absolutely love Slow Horses - an offbeat spy thriller series with lots of intriguing and offbeat characters.
The only problem with Slow Horses is that there are not enough episodes in each series. The characters are so interesting and engaging I would watch a few episodes about them living their lives away from the office without worrying about the plot progressing.
Ohh slow horses is awesome as , well done , weird querchy comedy
Bad Sisters is absolutely brilliant. The script and acting are outstanding. For me, Fiona Shaw steals the show!! Hilarious!
I didn’t think it was going to be as funny as it was but it was great 😁👍
My man! I was just searching my Apple TV app for something! For all mankind is probably one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Time to check out something new.
I hope this helped you find something! Thanks for watching 😁👍
Dark matter was amazing!
100% 😁👍
I Loved Silo!
Great series! 😁👍
Thank you for the list! Completed Silo and Shrinking 😁 Shrinking S2 just ended! It was wholesome, Thank you
You are welcome! 😁😁 Silo is awesome with great mysteries and such but I love Shrinking for that exact reason. It just makes you happy, makes me feel the exact same way I feel when I watch Ted Lasso! ❤️
My top 10 is:
1. Evil
2. Dark matter
3. Shogun
4. From
5. Fallout
6. The Boys
7. Sugar
8. Severance
9. Silo
10. Reacher
You are going to enjoy my next video cause I’m including a ton of those shows minus the Apple ones cause they are in this one lol
I seriously had no idea about most of these .... thanks for this. I'll be checking some out now.
You’re welcome! That’s why I do these videos 😁👍 thanks for watching
Lots of good recommendations here. I have subscribed
That’s awesome glad you found some good picks! 😁👍
Hmm not sure if my original comment saved or what have some bad signal where I’m at today but thanks for watching and glad you got some good options to check out 😁👍
Disclaimer, and The Day Of, are so well written and acted.
I really enjoyed disclaimer, it was different but you are right the acting and writing is great
I also enjoyed Disclaimer.
Feel like Sugar doesn't get enough buzz. Thoroughly enjoyed and pretty unique concept.
Disclaimer definitely has it moments. 😬
Thanks for the list, I haven't seen any of them!
You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy them! 😁👍
WHile I agreed with each of your choices here... I liked slow horses the best. Since I"m a huge gary oldman fan, it was an easy choice. They are all good choices however.
Can’t argue with that. Gary Oldman is a legend! 😁👍
See was a solid series i just finished!
That’s an outstanding option, I recommended it a few times in other videos 😁👍
Tehran is also really good.
For sure awesome pick! 😁🍿👍
I really enjoyed Monsters, and looking forward to watching season 2
For sure I hope they continue to intertwine it with the movies! 😁👍
Pachinko is my #1 choice. I recommend reading the book first.
It’s a great show absolutely worth checking out!
Pachinko was great, following 4 generations of Korean, Japanese families from 40's to current time.
I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy as much as I did but an outstanding option
I also recommend Severance and Invasion. The latter starts off very very slow, but once you get to the 4th episode, it seems to get its legs. Sunny is pretty funny although a bit quirky.
Both great options, I love Severance. I have not watched Sunny yet but I’ll have to find time
To check it out
Cate Blanchett was actually not the narrator in Disclaimer. In the credits you can see that the narrator is Indira Varma.
huh 🤦♂️ your right I guess I just assumed lol but yeah Indira Varma and Kevin Kline.
Another great one I truly enjoyed was KillJoys
I haven’t seen that one 🤔 I’ll add it to my own growing watchlist! Thanks for the recommendation 😁👍
Slow horses is the best on the list! My opinion.
It’s definitely up there!
Monarch Legacy of Moñsters, Silo, Masters of the air, Dark matter , These shows are NEXT LEVEL and can't wait for there season 2 , Bring it ON 😊😂👍
Couldn't agree more 🎉🎉
Pachinko ❤
Great option! 😁👍
Dark Matter is getting a season 2 even though the writer hasn't written a sequel to the book yet. Usually a bad sign, but I'm hopeful ☺️
100% Fingers crossed they don’t ruin it cause you’re right there have been some cases where that doesn’t pan out well.
I’m behind on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Dark Matter is my favorite on this list. Season 2 is something I am extremely excited about
I love dark matter too, the subject matter is one of my favorite premises. But so is Monarchs 😂
Dystopian….I don’t have a favorite that’s why I am here to find a few things to watch while it snows. 😁

Some awesome options and I love shrinking for that same reason. Jason Segel is amazing! 😁👍 thanks for watching
@TheBingeList99 yeah
almost any apple tv show is worth watching if it fits in a genre you like, they make bangers, quality over quantity
100% they have been crushing it and 2024 they even increased the volume and quality didn’t seem to drop off IMO. I can really only think of a handful that are ehh and most are really early on when they just started producing shows.
That's why nobody watches or pays for apple tv right 😂
Invasion is also good
For sure solid option!
Slow Horses series on Apple is better than the books.
Interesting, you normal hear people screaming how the books are better with adaptations lol but that’s awesome! 😁🤜🤛😁
My fav is slow horses. Jealous of those who’ve not seen.
Because they get to see it for the first time?
Dick Turpin looks interesting, somewhat on the lines of Robin Hood Men in Tights
I didn’t even think of that but yes very similar silliness with a smidge less singing 😂👍
Shrinking is my favorite
So funny and just feel good 😁👍
@@TheBingeList99it really is. I could watch it over and over.
@ I feel the same way about Ted Lasso which has some of the same writers so makes sense
If you enjoyed the Dick Turpin series, check out My Lady Jayne (possibly Jane). Very similar. I found it really funny.
Awesome, I’ll never turn down a good recommendation! 😁👍 thanks for watching

@ it happens, I enjoy that level of silly but I had to watch Dick Turpin by myself cause my wife agrees with you.
Shrinking is fantastic, one of the shows I’ve seen in ages. I won’t watch Pachinko coz the book was astonishing and I don’t want it ruined.
Shrinking is right up there with Ted Lasso as it is funny but makes you smile the whole time. But I can respect that with Pachinko
Monarch Legacy of Monsters - started watching but then eventually just fast forwarded to the parts with monster action. The human storylines were boring.
Aw man I really liked the Wyatt and Kurt Russell family story but to each your own but thanks for checking out the video 😁👍
You surely do love comedy, don't you?
I would have to say yes, a good laugh always feels like a good thing

Is Silo's mystery one that the writers have the asnwer to or are they going to do the idiotic Lost/BSG wrecking job?

Too bad you used a harsh term to describe silo, now your comment is all the way down, too bad because you describe the series well.
NOt a single series is good here
lmfao wow what valuable feedback, I’ll make sure to take that in consideration next time 😂
