I loved your video too guys...hope you enjoy staying there.i am a native from baguio and all i can say is...just try to live there enjoy the weather up there and you will be the one to say what is Baguio is...GOD Bless BAGUIO CITY and GOD BLESS us all...
Thank you for showing this video. I love baguio. I have been to baguio for 2momths. Beautiful city, Even though there are lots of smoking. I wanna go to Red lions, Cafe will, Centum mall? SM Everywhere. I've missed baguio
My father was stationed at Camp John Hay (1962 - 1966) I'm saddened to see that the place has changed that much after the handover. But then the whole city has changed, I hardly recognized anything. I also attended Brent HS (where my mother taught for many years) It's nice to see that the campus has remained virtually unchanged after all these years. It brought back so many memories (both good and bad) Thanks for sharing this clip.
When I was young it was never that crowded. My backyard was pine trees and grassy hillside. We pick edible mushrooms that grow in the area. Now houses replaced the pine trees and mushrooms.
it's been few years back but thank you for posting this video. Baguio has lots of beautiful spots and i hope you've had the chance to see most of them. I've been away for more than a year now and I miss my home town so much.
Also in the video she says the "Jeepney doesn't have routes and you have to know where there going" I believe the routes and roads are written on the side of the jeepney.Or just ask the driver. Locals mostly use the Jeepney with tourist and expats using taxis.
What a pleasant surprise! Its funny, but I am borderline embarrassed by this video after so many years. :) Great to hear from you! Are you still holding down the fort in Baguio?
I've been there, it was really nice, I was so sorry to have to leave. I hope to go back there soon. Looking at the video, I've been all the places you guys had. I really miss the place.
Aww...miss this place already! I'm Filipiono American and was just here last month to visit relatives, which they took me here as this is a popular tourist spot and "closest" (no snow) to my type of weather where I grew-up (Minnesota). Great to see your guys' persepective of this beautiful part of the "main" island!
I visited Baguio couple of times 1995, 2001, 2005 and 2011. Things have changed in Baguio..Baguio was once a clean and a very peaceful place to live/stay but during my last visit on Baguio it was very crowded and piles and piles of houses which wasnt' present way back 1995 or early 2000. I just missed the old Baguio..the old Baguio is an amazing tourist nature destination if the residents and local leaders protected it instead of exploiting the wealth of nature.
I love your Vid guys! Awesome short film. Baguio City is my hometown until my 2nd year of High School in Saint Louis Boy's High before uprooting and leaving for California. Your the kinda people I love traveling with. You both show how two Foreigner's in a foreign land and enjoy themselves no matter what the conditions are. Most people who travel to other countries; Third World or not complain about the negative side of the country/place. Thank's for sharing guys! Subscribed! :) -dRu
I appreciate the video and made me proud that some foreigner would still love the beauty of our city.. Comments are welcome but we would appreciate it more if you could directly say it to our city mayor. I guess once a visitor speaks their critics about the city then it could be a wake up call for them and to the local community. The city is lossing its real beauty. Sad to say.
ITS MY FIRST TIME TO GO IN BAGUIO LAST YEAR I SPEND MY WHOLE VACATION THERE TAKING PICTURES OF PEOPLE EVENTS AND SCENES SPECIALLY AMERICAN -FILIPINO COUPLES.,, I CAN SAY THAT IT IS SAFE TO GO IN BAGUIO CAUSE EVEN IF MY CAMERA IS POPPED OUT NO ONE GRABBED IT. I LOVE TRAVELING I'LL GO THERE ON FEBRUARY TO WITNESS THE FAMOUS PANAGBENGA FESTIVAL
Many years back when Camp John Hay was ran by the Americans Baguio City was the safest, cleanest and friendliest place in the Philippines. But now, No More. I studied in St louis University one of the best universities in the Philippines.
We lived in Baguio for two years as American foreigners and I never felt in any danger. In fact, I would often take long walks throughout various sections of the city and neighborhoods. With that said, I did have many friends who had their possessions stolen off their person (purses, wallets, cell phones). But over all, I would say that Baguio is a safe city. Thanks for watching the video!
Thanks for the video.. I grew up here..but you know SM is cutting down 180+ trees just to make way for a parking lot.. It would surely destroy the landscape of Session Rd..I believe most residents in Baguio are not in Favor of this..
Are you still in the Philippines? Me and my Girlfriend are planning to have a trip in Baguio city and Tagaytay City the Baguio of the South this coming May :)
I like a lot of things and places in Baguio but they don't have garbage bins in the main street and foot paths are very bad you have to walk on the side of the roads,

Hi there, would you mind sharing the song title in your video.
wow this was ages ago have you guys tried to go back to baguio city?
We lived in Baguio for two years as American foreigners and I never felt in any danger. In fact, I would often take long walks throughout various sections of the city and neighborhoods. With that said, I did have many friends who had their possessions stolen off their person (purses, wallets, cell phones). But over all, I would say that Baguio is a safe city.
Thanks for watching the video!
Hhahaha I love that place and their cabins in the woods surrounded by pine trees, reminds me of the cold big bear cali
Hi! Do you have the Baguio Centennial Hymn year 2009?
Hello Taylor, Did you try the tree adventure?
Hi nice vid!I was wondering what's the background music called. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me it. thanks in advance!
Man Home is one of the best. not to mention Rose Garden, and other Places, like Camp John Hay XD
Baguio is considered as one of the safest city in the Philippines.

Thanks for the video.. I grew up here..but you know SM is cutting down 180+ trees just to make way for a parking lot.. It would surely destroy the landscape of Session Rd..I believe most residents in Baguio are not in Favor of this..
Are you still in the Philippines? Me and my Girlfriend are planning to have a trip in Baguio city and Tagaytay City the Baguio of the South this coming May :)
how many days did you stay in baguio? were the people friendly to you?
that was cool and fun...
Ahh actually SM is 2x bigger than walmart. We have movie theaters, restaurants, bar, beauty shops, supermarket, sauna, kids dept inside it
Baguio city, one of the best place in Philippines 🇵🇭
@joeyboijr SM stands for Shoemart not "shopping Mall".
Baguio is relatively safe, but the safest place for a foreigner in the Philippines would be Cebu City
I like a lot of things and places in Baguio but they don't have garbage bins in the main street and foot paths are very bad you have to walk on the side of the roads,
Philippines has change dramatically have you gone back yet? i am taking my GF this year coz she always said we dont have malls in Philippines LOL she be surprise so bad
This is Gold.
Yeahh 😔😭
Baguio is not the same anymore from 10 years ago..
Its also been swamped by koreans I can hear more koreans in there than tagalog sometimes .
Is it common to see Americans there? I would think so considering the weather :)
