  • PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome, affects between 5 to 10 percent of all women. PCOS symptoms include irregular or heavy periods, acne, facial hair, scalp hair loss, increased belly fat, and increased levels of testosterone. It is also strongly correlated with infertility. While conventional medicine typically views PCOS as a gynecological issue, it is actually commonly driven by things such as diet, environmental toxins, genetics, and more.

    Low carb and IF helped me manage my PCOS. I even went through almost 4 years of having no period at all. 1 month in low carb and my period suddenly came.. hell it was such a huge relief 😭

      Hii I have a question and I can’t find anything online about this, so I was wondering if you could share your experience. Actually my period was fine as long as I was working out regularly, but my biggest problem was the hirsutism and hair loss with pcos, so I started keto and IF and suddenly my period is gone (only some spotting for 2 days) and my cup size has gone down .. hair loss has improved though. So I found one doctor (from the book fast like a girl) that said you shouldn’t fast the week before your period. Do you fast differently depending on the time of the month? Also, what does low carb look like to you, do you track every single thing you eat to count total carbs or do you just make sure all your food items are low in carbs?
      Lol sorry for all these random questions, I just can’t find any sources on what could cause these problems with my period

      I had the opposite result and lost my period for 4yrs while on low carb. It came back within 3 months of eating back carbs like quinoa, oats, potatoes, etc. My LH and FSH levels were tanked and thyroid too. After increasing carbs all the hormones shifted to balance again. PCOS but regular period within 35days, hoping for 28 day cycles. I think PCOS is an umbrella term and varies actually...wish low carb had worked for me like magic for others.

    After living with pcos for over 10 years, I can understand how insensitive and rude his comments about it were Iike it’s a joke. This is a serious problem and it’s not a laughing matter. So it’s not about being too sensitive it’s about caring for other people and being sensitive to their issues. It was an informative video but it could have been handled better and with more care.

      I have PCOS and I thought it was funny. I told my boyfriend all the time if I didn’t shave every day, I would have a beard within two days. it is what it is but it’s good to know there are things out there that actually help. After he said that he did say it sounds like a horrific thing to have.

      Many fat women do NOT gorge on donuts. Some try very hard to eat what they are told is healthy. It does not work.

    Yes I can see how those comments were a bit insensitive but let’s be honest, it’s his channel and he clearly cares enough to bring someone on to help. I have the facial hair and the hair loss. I also struggle with the acne. I brushed it off because I cared more about the information. I think sometimes we have to let things go and not take everything so personally. We don’t have to be offended, it’s a choice.

      @@aimensohail1725 yes I have…I do have am oil that I make for my hair. I take these vitamins for my hair. I changed my diet significantly. I stay away from sugar, dairy, and carbs that break down into simple sugar. I eat lots of fruit, guacamole, and quinoa. I bought that home laser removal for my facial hair, it’s definitely getting better for sure. I also been consistent with working out. It’s a life style change but I’ve seen significant improvement in skin, hair growth and hair loss

    Thank you so much for this podcast! I’ve been strugling so much with my PCOS since my early teens, when I was diagnosed, but the only possible solution I was given was the pill. Tried it at first, but got terrible side effects. I had so much nausea in the morning that I decided to stop taking it and just gave up. Now that I’m in my twenties, I decided to study by myself to try and revert the situation by focusing on a more natural (No drug use) solution. Especialist podcasts like this have been incredibly helpfull!

      Hi! I got diagnose of ovarian cyst too. Its 4.9 in size, but my doctor havent gave a medicine to make it shrink,she said it is just there and will shrink by itself.

      @@eternalbliss5896 Keep your total daily carbs below 20g. Your PCOS will be reversed within one year. You'll see major improvements by three months.
      Be ready for sugar withdrawals for the first week or so -- headache, low energy, mood swings, etc.
      Also, be sure to check with your doctor every four to six weeks to see if you are ready to reduce whatever meds you are on as your body is healing.

      Hi, I too had a huge ovarian cyst while pregnant, it was 7 pounds and I felt like I was about to burst, carrying triplets size wise. They removed the cyst and ovary during c section. I only just figured out PCOS and hyperangrogenism as I’m post menopausal and I’m gaining a lot of weight plus having high cholesterol, blood pressure, heart palpitations, insomnia, depression, lack of energy etc. I used to be very active, Do labor work 5 hours a day and this all started after I stopped being active, so my first guess is that exercise is of importance.

    I adapted a whole food plant based organic lifestyle and stopped buying toxic products and drinking out of plastic. I no longer have any issues. I eat mostly fruit!

    They didn't diagnose me for 15 years until I had an IUD insertion, and later a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm its placement. That's when they finally saw my ovaries. They looked like raspberries.
    My doctors denied this diagnosis because I wasn't overweight. When I went on birth control, the acne and excess hair aspect went away.
    Wishing everyone the best researching this syndrome. It's hard because it feels like we are on our own with it.

    Supplements can help and eating a clean diet as much as possible. It's not fair but bad foods go against us. To be honest I stopped desiring kids. It seems I put so much effort in and was not to be. I have sort of relaxed and accepted that it might never happen. I tried to work less and avoid stress as much as possible. Found a job closer to my house and I feel so much better having a more relaxed lifestyle. I was under a lot of stress in my previous jobs running a lot after money. But now I put my health first. 😊 ❤❤❤

    When I was pregnant I had food aversion. I could only eat protein and fruits. I lost 17 pounds and only gained 17 pounds with my pregnancy. My daughter was in her senior year when covid hit and the stress caused the PCOS. Her diet was too carb laden and her stress level was through the roof. She has one breast much larger and she is too heavy and has a full beard. We are working to change her diet but still not much has changed. I have her on herbs to help her balance. We have had an incredibly horrible 7 years, but now we are at the end of that tunnel. I am hoping now we can get it under control.

      My daughter was diagnosed by Pcos when she turned 13. I work and it wasn’t easy but I cook fresh meal 5 times a week and turned towards organic lifestyle. Indian and Mediterranean recipes are amazing. No soda no sugar drinks or juices. I started taking her for an hr walks will talk & make it fun for her. She was in sports soccer and volleyball. She started playing piano that helped her with stress. Avoid Social media as it adds in depression. For facial hair we tried many things lazer hair removal treatments electrolyses but until you change her eating habits nothing will work.
      She is on metformin.
      No junk she is much better but it’s a life long struggle. Hope it helps

      @lightningandthunder2861 my daughter is 20, and autistic so she has severe social anxiety so doesn't do sports or anything social. We have had one death after another, which is the source of our sadness, but it's getting easier. We just bought our dream farm so walking that everyday will be plenty of exercise and stress for both of us will lower considerably. I cook everyday because I am allergic to eggs, wheat, sugar and diary. They give me rheumatoid arthritis symptoms if I eat them so we don't eat junk anymore. We will get there, slowly. I personally as a 24+ year natural healing practitioner don't believe anything is life long if you find the right combination of food, herbs, emotional and mental practices. Natural Healing is work, it is not for those who want a quick fix that's for sure.

    Am 50 yr old woman who has been struggling with all these symptoms all my life but didn't know there was a name for it. I have been to several Drs but they never made this diagnosis they just say loose the weight. Lucky for me after doing tons of reading and trying to fix myself I was able to have one child. Now I am trying desperately to loose weight but so far no luck. Feel depressed most of the time because I was never able to give my child a sibling and now it's too late for me.

    I cannot tell you how much I liked listening to this. I am a 75 yr old women who has suffered my entire life with allergies to everything from medicines to foods to insect bites which literally drove me into intensive care with an anaphylactic shock for 2 days. I also suffered from pcos all through my early life. Doctors never said there was a cure. Absolutely everything you mentioned in this video I have gone through except the infertility. Amazingly I had two easy pregnancies however on my second child I had a RH factor which lead them to induce my labor in the 8th month. Since I have been reading and listening to Dr. Hyman I now realize that if only a doctor someplace had tested my hormones or even know the correlation way back when I could have saved myself from years of pain and suffering. BTW I also suffer from IBS. I know now it is all connected. I hope you reach many young people to educate them. Save them from the same pain and suffering.

      Yes luckily the science has moved on a lot. Hyman MD did not however. There are only statistically backed claims for PCOS here and even those numbers are disputed by other studies.

      ​@solinspired4428 South Korean people eat a little refrigerated live KIMCHI (kimchi must be kept refrigerated) after each meal 3 times a day. PREBIOTICS feed the probiotics. Prebiotics: INULIN, a powder, (not insulin) can be put in any drink (can be purchased at most chiropractic offices that offer WHOLE food supplement company STANDARD PROCESS, or through the Standard Process website). Research for yourself. Also ground flaxseed put in whole milk yogurt or grass-fed whole milk yogurt & 'sweetened' with a few frozen berries.

    What bad is that I am not eating all those bad things mentioned in the beginning of the video. I don't binge or splurge, but I don't deprive myself. I do enjoy some from time to time. I eat more meats and veggies and in a deficit and I still can't lose. I've suffered since my 20s and I just had a doctor "losely" dx me with pcos and now I'm almost 42. It's so disheartening.

      Apple cidar vinegar pills from Walmart help me lose weight but some people can't take those. I think people on diabetic meds can't. Metformin used to help. This is not medical advice. You should ask a doctor.

Apparently Hypothyroidism could also be a cause of excess weight, or troubles to lose weight. I hope this is usefull. I wish you the best and don't give up!       I thought the same, it was pretty offensive. It's a shame because it ruined the rest of the video for me which was actually quite informative. 'bearded women in the circus' is not a great opening line to addressing the viewers who suffer from this (which rarely causes an actual full beard anyway)

      You can eat whatever you want so long as your total daily carbs are under 20g.
      Best stuff is fatty meats, sea food, eggs, butter/ghee, salt, water.
      Dark green vegetables can be taken in very limited quantities.
      Hard cheeses are okay for some people.
      Generally speaking, pass on everything else.
      Yes, *_EVERYTHING_* else.
      If you really want to, you can read up on each food's nutrition facts to see how many carbs they have.
      Then you can eat that food so long as you don't go over 20g carbs/day.
      The closer to 0 carbs/day you get, the faster you will heal.
      But you can go up to 20g carbs/day.
      Be ready to go through sugar withdrawals for the first week or so -- headache, low energy, mood swings, intense cravings, etc.
      Temporary. Not dangerous.
      Also, check with your doctor every month or two.
      You might need to reduce the dosages of your meds (if you're on meds) as your body heals.

    What about a mother whose pregnancy was a very extremely stressful pregnancy? Mine was horribly stressful and now my 26 year old daughter has PCOS and is a Type1 diabetic since she was 13yrs.
    I believe my high stress levels hurt my daughter.

      Simply adding herbs to an ultra processed diet with sweetened beverages and poor muscle strength would be a fast track to most chronic diseases though. Herbs only is bad advice if that's what you were saying

    It seems like it's impossible to fix all these things. I know in daily life we can't rid ourselves completely of stress, toxins, etc..... I feel like it's a losing battle just to lose 20-30lbs. Plus, you make it sound so easy to just stop eating all these things. It's not easy for some of us. It seems so privileged to just give up gluten and dairy, even if we know that it might cause some problems. Not everyone can just give these things up or even do it so easily.

      Sure if you live in the system. I left my stressful job, rented out my house and kitted out a caravan and live and travel in it with my boyfriend. We just find work at farms where they let us park up our caravan for free and we live a real nice life away from stress, booze and toxins. We don't earn much on farm work, but living expenses are waaay less, plus we get rent from the house so we probably earn comparatively as much as we were when we where in the system. You circumstances suck because you can't see the opportunities to leave it, there are definitely different ways to live and plenty if ways to change your life, you just gotta be open and ready to work for it when it comes along.

      With the food, no it's not easy to stop eating those things but it's worth it to try to make things work. Having pcos requires you to do more work just to feel normal. It sucks but it's doable. I started going out for a 15min walk after eating then I tried to look for meals that didn't need any dairy in it or I could substitute. Then i started to dedicate a specific budget for my food. cut the processed foods and takeout, invest in your food, and that alone makes a huge difference. I still fall back sometimes and thats ok but It always reminds me what works for me and what doesn't

      1) mostly unrefined whole foods & water. More Fiber, Protein, fill with Fats. Cut the sugar & man-made foods/beverages. 2) Strength training + cardio most days, less sitting more exercise GRADUALLY. 3) get quality sleep, and don't stress so much!

    Oh, I feel so lost in this problem. I live in Japan, and we only have small private clinics which won't provide an objective test on something like this. I was told that I have PCOS at a maternity clinic, but they don't provide any treatment for it other than birth control. They don't know anyone who can help you and won't tell you, so you have to go from one clinic to another, paying a lot of money and commuting to a very far places, in hope that if they won't advise you any treatment they at least help to find someone who can. I went to a clinic specializing on diabetes, but though they could make a blood test on insulin resistance (which I do have), they won't provide any tests for vitamins. Also they don't have a dietologist. So now I have to fo to another pricey clinic to do a test for vitamins (I don't even know what it contains, because this test is considered as a beauty procedure) and then go to yet another clinic to a dietologist who may be would tell me something new. But if I would want to make any test for my guts, I would have to go to yet another clinic and try to explain why I want this specific set of tests. I have no one to ask about it, toconsult with, have to try to think up of all needed tests based on youtube videos like yours and then have to persuade a clinic to let me do the tests. It's so frustrating. Feels like a labyrinth and I don't know where to even start from. :c

      Tests aren't always necessary, don't lose time and money doing them, you can start intermittent fasting and a low carb keto diet there are plenty of resources for free, and once you'll start seeing results you know you're on the right track.
      Just remember to listen to your body.

    What is a good pro/pre biotic to take? I was diagnosed with PCOS early 2017, my Dr just wanted to put me on a bunch of pills and I declined thinking there must be a better way. I did find a healthy lifestyle is the way to manage. Thank you for this podcast i went dairy/gluten free but not totally and i think like you stated is huge so thank you. I still struggle because im not consistent so maybe just consistency will help me? Also supplements what are good and not? Ive tried vitex but started and it seemed to make me not jave a period now im on insitol about 2 months and no period do some women just not do good with the reproductive supplements?

      talk to a nutritionist if possible lots of PCOS experts say keto is bad for women, especially with PCOS. They can do checks to see what the problem is because there are different types...for instance, my nutritionist has me do this (general); morning warm water with lemon, then 1 boiled egg and 35 grams of cereal like oats or buckwheat 125 mil of lactose-free milk or plant-based milk and 10 grams of nuts or nut butter...lunch and dinner is like 100g of a protein but you can only eat pork or beef 1 time per week rest should be fish, poultry or beans...like 125gr of complex carb if potato 80 grams and veg at least 200g, and the Mediterranean diet is really good for PCOS...you want a lot of omega 3 I would check out Alissa Vitti she wrote Women Code and she has a good diet as well where its more of a rotation of what you eat to support different hormonal phases and if you don't have a period it tells you where to start to get back on track and there is even a "detox" to get you digestive system in order before you start to make sure you absorb nutrients and by detox its just having some soups and salads that really help get your digestive system in order not like a juice cleanse or anything crazy. also eating compote after dinner along with what my nutritionist suggested helps with digestion as well so like basically like apple sauce with no sugar or an extremely ripe fruit (apple, pear, plum, peach,)..you can lacto ferment foods to get natural probiotics...and try to walk, walking helps a lot and weight training.

      My period had problems and didn't show for 5 years (i did get it checked out and there was no medical reason it should have stopped). For me it was stress related I think, detox from coffee was perhaps helpful, I was working on call for emergency services and I left that job and it came back after that.

    Low carb makes my hair fall out. I just focus on calorie counting and trying to eat healthy. I suffer from low blood pressure so I can't go too low calorie.

      I found intermittent fasting helpful for me, but while eating it has to be low carbs and low gluten, the diet/food portion is more important and if I throw it off by eating too much icecream it sometimes ruins all the work.

      it can apparently sometimes make it worse if it raises cortisol too much; I've heard that fasting in the first two weeks of the cycle can be better due to the hormonal household as well:)

      For some people fasting helps, but starving urself won't help with pcos. So there is a better way of fasting while eating three meals a day, which is stop eating any kind of food at seven at night and schedule ur next meal at seven in the morning. That's a 12 hours fasting window which is really helpful. It will help with ur insulin resistance and u can change the time as per your likings and lifestyle.

    5-10%…actually that’s much lower than I thought.
    I know plenty that have it.
    Wish it was 0%. It’s a horrible dysfunction that can cause life long health problems.
    Stress doesn’t help either.
    Metabolic dysfunction is so common. I had severe metabolic dysfunction.
    I did Lion diet (mainly ruminate meat based Carnivore) strictly for 3 months.
    Then converted to Carnivore for 5 months to date and lost 53kg.
    All mental and metabolic dysfunction long gone.
    You don’t need to go as hardcore as me, rather try Ketogenic diet and see how you go from there.

    When I was 18 I had an ectopic pregnancy, the dr had said it was caused by pcos, thankfully I was able to pass the fetus naturally without medication but no one ever discussed pcos to me or what to do about it. I was emotionally torn apart with the whole situation I didn’t even consider it myself. Now I’m 25 I have a full on beard, I can’t seem to lose the weight around my waist and my period last anywhere between 12 to 16 days, stop for a day or 2 and then start back up for 2 more weeks. Sometimes I skip a few months and sometimes it’s non stop bleeding for 4 months. I was in the military and all they ever cared about was birth control and dismissed everything and now I don’t have insurance or resources to even go see a doctor. Not to mention I also have a nexplanon bar in my arm. I’m sure it’s contributing to the bleeding but I don’t have insurance and without insurance it cost $750 so I guess I’m stuck with this thing in my arm feeding me artificial hormones

      When I was a child we lived on a farm so most of our food was natural but we soon moved to the city and started buying all of our food from the store and most of my life my mother usually cooked fried foods and pasta. I am by no means over weight I just seem collect weight around my stomach and waist. Today my eating is a little better. I try to go for whole natural local foods but I still eat poorly here and there but slowly making changes. I’ve also been drinking coffee with sugar since I was 11 and now I’m understanding how detrimental that has been and breaking the habit has been so difficult

      Sorry to hear about this… have you considered adopting a plant based lifestyle? People have been healing their bodies with fruit and veg literally.
      I’ve only recently gone plant based and Im already seeing the benefits… I’ll encourage you to try this for a month and see what it does

    Meat diet fixed my PCOS that I suffered for over 20 years. I am 49 now and never been happier. Carnivore diet all the way.
    Too bad I didn’t know about carnivore when I tried to get pregnant so ended up going through infertility treatments spending alot. I mean really I lot.

      Please consider the many many scientific studies (www.cambridge.org/core/journals/british-journal-of-nutrition/article/optimal-diet-for-women-with-polycystic-ovary-syndrome/337D7C84D801B5313C83505E168FD7EA for instance) before continuing a Carnivore diet. Unless you have other special conditions only very few studies show a carnivore diet to have any positive effect.

      There are varying symptoms and types of PCOS people deal with when it comes to it and varying severities. There is a higher number of people with insulin resistance but there are some without and their pcos symptoms are more based around inflammation and adrenal. Alot of people have a combination of things. But some things that seem to help with all is 1. Sleep 2. Stress management 3. Low stress exercise 4. Balanced diet 5. Vitamins and supplements (they have done studies showing that alot of people with pcos are deficient in vitamin d and inositol). Next time taking a blood test perhaps check your inflammation, vitamin and cortisol levels as well as a hormone panel

      Caffeine, especially coffee, is better to be avoided when dealing with PCOS
      I saw an improvement with hair growing on my neck when quitting coffee and switching for green tea instead in the morning.
      If you have a problem giving up coffee, try decrease the amount
      Sugar is to be avoided at all costs

      I tend to store fat around the middle and it's very frustrating.
      Not only that, I noticed when I drink coffee I tend to eat more than usual. It also exacerbates the hair growing on my neck and hair falling from my head.
      I thrive on a low carb diet with green tea, mostly whole, unprocessed organic foods.

    According to my Doctor all my hormones are normal, my period is out of wack not regular at all or missed periods, i have hair thinning and have been gaining weight, I've had surgery for cysts in the past too and i just don't get why if i have all symptoms, the 4 gynos that i have been too and docs say i don't have PCOS just because all my hormone levels are normal and don't have insulin resistance my diet is very clean too. I was still given birth control to regulate my period which caused me to get high blood pressure which i have discontinued anybody else here has a similar case?

    I remember back in 2012, I was working on a job for the VA and came across documents showing a man who was diagnosed with T2 Diabetes and the cause was listed as being from exposure to agent orange. The herbicides and pesticides in our food no doubt contribute to the epidemic of insulin resistance which is what is truly causing the massive rise in obesity. Our food and environment are packed full of endocrine disrupters. It can be impossible to lose weight when your body is not wired correctly.

    Why does the Female doctor say DHEA instead of DHEAS there is a difference correct? Dheas is the extra hormone we don't want too much of because it turns into DHT?. My doctor ordered lab work for DHEA instead of DHEAS. I asked him to re-order it and my levels for DHEA were normal and DHEAS was high.

    People with PCOS:
    - Keep your insulin LOW (insulin spikes are hell for PCOS - we have higher circulating insulin/insulin resistance to begin with)
    - High protein
    - High healthy fat
    - Low carb (eat carbs 2 or three times a week max)
    - Low to zero sugar
    - Stay away from processed foods
    - Stay away from alcohol
    - Stay away from 'low fat' diet foods (there is a TON of sugar in those)
    - Walking and low intensity resistance training (no intense cardio workouts because the cortisol caused by those will make your body go crazy and throw your hormones off even more)
    - Make small adjustments and look at your body like an experiment (keep a journal)
    - You're in this for the long haul -- don't expect to lose more than 10kg in a year. It's pretty much impossible with PCOS. Slow and steady.
    I've lost 20+ kg doing this for the last three years. Before that NOTHING worked. No diet worked except eating in a more hunter gatherer type of way. Your genetic makeup is too old for the modern food industry.

    I think if you have such an important job, tou should be a le to explain even if generally the disease to the patient and not treat people like a number…

    I have PCOS and I also have congenital hypoparathyroidism. I went vegan a couple years ago and continued my calcitrol and calcium supplements. I found that over a few months, my periods worsened. I used up all of my calcium reserves and every time I got my period, I would get hypocalcemic. I wasn’t absorbing any of plant-based calcium so, how would someone like me go about eliminating dairy when it’s the only form of calcium my body will absorb?

      @@moochieeats1909 My Calcium was always low-normal my entire life until my early 20s. Then I started getting symptomatic. I went to many doctors. I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia and multiple chemical sensitivity. I still wasn’t feeling right, so I did my own research and found an endocrinologist that believed me. I told her I had a suspicion that I had hypoparathyroidism and when she ran the blood tests for my calcium, PTH, and phosphorus, I hit the trifecta. I basically diagnosed myself and it was confirmed by an endo.

      Hi!! Have you tried taking Magnesium supplement instead of calcium? Actually lack of calcium in the body could be because you have a magnesium deficency. Try taking Magnesium citrate everyday. at least 400mg per day for a few months and check if that helps!

    Research says dairy does not cause congestion and if my husband does not get milk for three days he gets hospitalized. He can only drink organic milk or he gets sick. Unfortunately many brands like Horizon are not really organic and if he drinks one he has a bad reaction in seconds. Research also says low fat dairy has no benefits but men who drink whole milk are: 1.thinner, 2. more fit., 3. less likely to have a stroke, 4. Less likely to have a heart attack, and 5. Less likely to become alcoholics. Science!

    My Drs always tell me my bloods are fine. But my hair falls out in handfuls, mood swings that make me want to end everything, thick facial hair, unable to lose weight. And basically every symptom, and I have asked and asked and they just shove birth control at me without doing further tests. I feel so lost.

      That's because you're addicted to sugar (carbohydrates).
      If you cut out carbohydrates, you'll go straight into sugar withdrawals in a day or two.
      It will be like a smoker who suddenly stops smoking -- headache, low energy, mood swings, wildly intense cravings, etc.
      Try it if you don't believe me.

      @@Stargirl11128 I recommend cutting your carbs down to less than 20g per day.
      Eat mostly Meats, sea food, eggs, butter, salt, and water.
      Dark green vegetables are usually low carb so those are fine so long as you stay under 20 total grams of carbs.
      Generally speaking, if you do half a plate of meat and eggs with one-quarter plate of dark green veg, you'll be good to go.
      This fixes PCOS in about one year but you will see big improvements in just 90 days.
      The reason this works is because eating that way keeps your blood sugar levels in a normal and steady level which is exactly what your body needs in order to reverse PCOS.
      Just be aware that you will probably feel bad for the first week or so - it's sugar withdrawals. Expect headaches, low energy, mood swings, ridiculously strong cravings, etc.
      This is pretty normal and will naturally go away.
      You will also probably get diarrhea. This is common for people who don't usually eat enough meat. Your body will adjust and it will go away automatically. *_DO NOT TRUST YOUR FARTS._* I learned that the hard way...
      This way of eating is called a ketogenic diet (or a carnivore diet).
