  • 250g Taro (julienned)
    300g Chicken thighs (without bones, small piece)
    12 Small dried shiitake mushrooms
    2 tbsp Dried shrimp
    1 tbsp Tapioca Starch
    Cilantro (coriander, to taste)
    Chicken leg marinade:
    2 tsp Aged soybean paste
    1 tsp Rice wine or dry sherry
    1 tsp Soy sauce
    1 tsp Oyster sauce
    1 tsp Sesame oil
    1/4 tsp White pepper powder
    1/4 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Cornstarch
    1. Soak small dried shiitake mushrooms in water for half an hour, soak dried shrimp in water for 5 minutes and then drain, cut chicken thighs into small pieces and add marinade.
    2. Remove the water from the shiitake mushrooms and cut some into strips.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, add mushrooms and dried shrimp to the pan and stir-fry.
    4. Turn off the heat, add the shredded taro and tapioca starch and mix.
    5. Put the chicken and the rest of the mushrooms on the surface.
    6. Steam in electric pot or steamer for 25~30min (the time can depend on the thickness of the ingredients you cut or the amount you prepare to make adjustments)
    7. add a little cilantro to enhance the aroma after the oven.
