Russia did pretty good for the time and place in history, but their another one who murdered at least 40-60 million along the way, and they industrialed more or less by force. I don't disagree that what China did was amazing. Calling it a miracle is just ridiculous. Give me a fat, sedentary person and a whip or gun, and I can be a freaking miracle trainer. It's that simple! America could blockade China's oil a thousand miles from her shores and completely crush her economy in 3-6 months without every firing a shot at the mainland. China is completely reliant on the trade that the USA has garunteed for the last 80 years. I do believe China is on the cusp (10-15 years yet)of transcending their technology, energy, and resource supply chains and their collapsing demographics. If they can pull that off under the noses of America's hawks and war dogs, then we can start talking about miracles.
China is the biggest market and huawei owns the best telecom technology, so what sanction can do to huawei. They don’t need the best chip fab tech to produce their best telecom chips.

China has basically written off the North American markets of US and Canada. It has also writing them off as suppliers for any produce that China may require. Any business done with them will be treated as a small bonus that do not much of a difference to China.
I was so disappointed when Trudeau decided to cancel Huawei. All because of USA "national security". Canada was threatened to be removed from the "Five Eyes Alliance" if we proceeded. Turns out that was one of many decisions Turd made which has ruined Canada. It solidified our vassal status.
China buys a lot of commodities from North America, which includes Mexico and also Central America. BYD sells a LOT of NEVs there, launching their new Shark pickup in Mexico. Network architect here. In our industry, the networking equipment implements what we call "RFCs", Request for Comments. These are standards, describing how functions are implemented, what the machine should do in each case, and many others. In all cases apart from Huawei, all major network equipment vendors, Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, etc, etc, would fight to get their own version of the standard approved, or a version that is the easiest, i.e. cheapest, for them to implement. Time and again, Huawei wouldn't care, they would implement multiple competing versions of the same standard. There is no other company on the planet that has the human capital necessary to do this.

Barring a war between US and China another 4 years of Trump will confirm China’s coming of age moving into technological maturity in fields that matter in the 21st Century. America can decouple from China and re-industrialise and China will de- dollarise in the next 8 to 10 years. This is where it is headed in a de facto way regardless of official pronouncements. Hopefully the significant reduction in trade will lead to small and negligible trade deficits that may help in lowering tensions between the two countries.

Trump in office makes it very unlikely that the US starts a war with China, because he knows that war is bad for business, bad for his businesses. You don't have to like Trump, but he's consistent in that he never acts against his personal self interest. In fact, he is very likely to stop adding new sanctions on China as he understands how they're affecting his personal bottom line, he'll just quietly let them expire.
Imagine you want to try out and possibly buy a Chinese EV..... you have to move to Mexico or Thailand ... utterly insane. So-called "land of the free" goes full Idiocracy.
I really like the way you explain what's going on in the business world. It's a great angle and insight you have within the Chinese market. In a sense, china are doing it right. The forward thinking and first mover way of progress that they implement really catches the west out. Really the west should be making the same moves that the Chinese are and maybe the competition would be better. Instead we have the west shitting their pants and trying to ban or tax it all. Eventually the west will have to realise that they are sooo far behind, and that china are already the next major power. (BRICS).
Don't worry. Absolute majority of the people in the US and the its vassal regimes do not speak any Chinese, and and never have both the incentive and the ability to watch videos or read text in Chinese. And ALMOST ALL western media outlets in both the US and its vassal regimes never faithfully report on China or just anything and everything Chinese. Therefore, the absolute majority of the people in the US and its vassal regimes would never find out the facts and reality one way or the other, and thus they will always live ever happily all their life. So, there won't be any problem for them, and the politicians in power in the US and its vassal regimes will have no need to deal with the facts and reality one way or the other. So, even the oligarchs and their politicians will always live ever happily all their life.

Here in South Africa, the MTN Group in partnership with Huawei, has completed the first 5.5G network trial in the country. This is four years after MTN South Africa launched 5G in 2020.
This is not surprising - Huawei got into the position they were because their equipment was high performance and very reliable - and if not exactly cheap (really, nothing in the telecom equipment market is cheap) then at least highly competitive with the other players. They also made the correct call on 5G and focussed heavily on mid-band systems - although mmwave isn't exactly dead I can't see any signs of a stampede to implement it.

If we were an old school empire like England, what do you think would have happened. It would be regional wars everywhere Smerica didn't step in. We ensured world trade for alliances against Russia.
Thank you, Kevin!
I call you the deliverer of good news. Thanks, Kevin!
An honest analysis which is absent in western mainstream media. Keep up the good work, Kevin.
China is the biggest market and huawei owns the best telecom technology, so what sanction can do to huawei. They don’t need the best chip fab tech to produce their best telecom chips.
With switching gear having constant power they don’t need the smallest chips, and with other developments they could leapfrog even further ahead when optical chips are available.

Saw some xiaomi stuff the other day… the screwdriver, pillow, water heater all integrate into the same app!? Wild
Xiaomi is a very good company. Ford's CEO using a Xiaomi SU7 EV,and he doesn't want to get rid of it.I am using one of their off brand phone. Top of the line of POCO,but I will not buying anything else. It is not a cheap cheap phone(500 euros), but it is awesome.
Yeah, Xiaomi is becoming like a Samsung or Panasonic, making all manner of consumer goods. We switched to buying only Chinese-branded goods, and will steadily replace European, Korean & Japanese products with Chinese alternatives when the time comes.
BYD will almost certainly assemble in Mexico for Central America parallel to Brasil for South America. We'll see Central America join China's BRI and expand trade in a big way by 2030.
No serious deals can be reached in the anglosphere like US, CAN, AUST, UK, the most toxic of them all. They think trust and diplomacy is like a tap, they can turn on and off every few years.
@@ZweiZwolfdon't be stupid. North America is white. Nobody counts about Mexico as western country. You will never be seen as Spanish.
5G telecom is an essential part of the economy and countries with access to the best 5G and soon 6G networks will drive the development of future technologies and innovation. The fact that western governments do not understand this speaks volumes about their competency.
Yes. That's why China is moving forward very fast while the US and it's allies are moving backwards.
Europe here.
We dont have real working 5G infrastructures.
Just buy it from the US
Poor Europeans.😂
The moment you go into a Zara or Primark inside a shopping mall, there is little to no mobile network coverage. I am referring to may cities in the UK and not to mention mostly no mobile coverage underground. But the thing is, British people don't mind this. That's the diff between Europeans and Chinese. In Kong, consumers won't have it even for a momentary drop off in service coming off the trains.
Thanks as always Kevin. Great analogy about Huawei essentially 'owning' the plumbing. Parallels the situation with the electricity grid, and fossil fuel energy companies attempting to stymie renewables, and storage.

Thanks to China's Huawei the third world now has better Internet service than many areas in middle America. 😂😂😂😂😂. I was shocked to discover they are still using dial up in Apalachia. lol
Thump next 4 years 🤡🤷
That's WHY the Elites want a HOT WAR !

the empire has done all it can to retain its top position for the simple reason, who would pay attention to number 2?
the empire got away with Iraq WMD because it was sole superpower. it won't be able to do that if it's just another power.
We're going to have to move out of the US to get good products.
Imagine you want to try out and possibly buy a Chinese EV..... you have to move to Mexico or Thailand ... utterly insane. So-called "land of the free" goes full Idiocracy.
@@randygraham926 never mind the products... you should move to Mexico or Thailand for better quality women.

6G on the Chinese mainland now.
Chinese telecom equipment wasn't cheap, but it was generally more affordable. Now they're moving to 6G.

China govt, govt linked companies are to replace western IT hardware and software by 2027. So goodbye to Intel, AMD, Microsoft and hello to Huawei HarmonyOS and Loongson CPUs. China can play de-coupling too.
China is already moving from Windows to Chinese desktop Linux. Other OEMs are working on next gen desktop hardware (RISC-V) and OS. This is very early, and it's not at all clear what the standard will be.

The Chinese once held Western brands in high esteem, but as Chinese brands have grown more competitive, this dynamic has fundamentally shifted.
Bloomberg is wrong in the commercial aviation market. With the demise of Boeing, their Comac aircraft are already selling well in china and elsewhere. So, they are competitive in this area NOW.
