Hey you awesome humans (is that politically correct? lol), so, maybe you just think Noir is just an Oscar Award winning actor...BUUUUUT music actually gets made too lol. Presenting another round of music for the TH-cam Audio Library. NOW, the thing about the library is that it's FREEEEEEEEE! Plus, I'll be honest, I personally use Sound Effects and Foley ALL THE TIME. Actually the Halloween Special every year has been full of stock sounds from the YTAL. Like the chain sounds this year etc.
I literally use it all the time, plus, the music is better in my opinion than those other subscription services that are all about getting your moneies. Which, I don't have so it's the YTAL for me lol.

wow, didn't know about that studio thing. I am checking that out more now. Loved your Great Whyte 18. @4:11 is exactly what I do, EXCEPT for the "complete compositions" part. I'm working on changing that more in 2021, even at this old age.

Definitely feeling you on Reason lately. Im considering switching myself. Looking at either Bitwig Studios or Cubase.
Curious what the problem is with Reason "lately"?
@@_P_M_ Mostly just a lack of meaningful updates and not keeping up with the progress other DAWs are making. I personally LOVE Reason's workflow, but it's missing a lot of things other DAWs offer and it's kind of annoying to be missing out on those things.
@@LeoZenRock That's interesting. I've been on Reason since 3.0. I like it a lot, but I think they are on their way out as a DAW. I hear from people all the time that other DAW's are just way ahead in terms of features. Reason's strength has always been the Rack. I think this is why they're offering the Rack as a VST now. I suspect they're going to start phasing out the DAW.
Love your videos man! Production quality is always top notch! I know you’ve done a review of the Ik uno. I’ve had the modal craftsynth 2.0 for a month now and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I think it is a better value and sound than the Skulpt.

Reason is sucking lately? Can you elaborate on that? I thought they'd fixed the VST problem and added a bunch of instruments?
Do you think there is a chance you could get your hands on a Jomox Alpha Base?
Gudmundur Thor Karlsson I mean, I could, but the issue is always the cost. I buy my own gear the only way I could get one is if I asked Jomox (which I wouldn’t want to do). So, unless someone gifts me $2000 I kinda can’t. When you’re like me and buy stuff for videos making lots of different content on gear is kinda prohibitive. Though, if it’s super interesting to me I have no problem adding something like the Alpha Base to my setup long term, and then I’d make a video. I hope this makes sense.

Hey, I’ll be honest, it’s brutally tough. There is no right or wrong way to get seen. I created Noir as a character because I myself thought this was the best way to stand out, and well, fans can become overzealous so you must be cautious, it can help to separate you as a person from your channel. I’ve met a plethora of musicians on TH-cam and trust me, they’re not who they are on camera in person, it’s a true separation because well, you kind of have to, negative comments, haters, you know, all that will happen and you’ll make mistakes on the way. I encourage you to not let other musicians bring you down, if there’s one thing I’ve heard from others and experienced myself is that people who don’t get successful will go at you the hardest, for no other reason then they don’t want to see you grow. ALL THAT SAID....DON’T STOP, if you need help, if you could use a shoutout once you’re growing don’t hesitate to look my way. I’m here to help, TH-cam changed my life as a musician, I’ve earned more from being creative and trying to bring fun stories and smiles than any dollar amount I hope. So yeah, make a goal, like a real goal, and a year from now you’ll either pass it or you won’t, the point is that you make that goal something you can control, not subs or anything. That’s what I did.

Does TH-cam pay you for your music? Do you get royalties? Or do you do it for free?
I'm also curious what the arrangement might be as far as being able to collect royalties. If content creators share some revenue with you for using the music or if it's just okay for creators to use the music w/o you getting a cut. I recently started writing for a licensing library that pays for writing the music and I'm also able to collect royalties, after starting to collect I'm not sure I'd ever write music for a library that would prevent it.
