Installation of wall brackets and tie-rod repair - Renovation vlog #30

Securing of two wall brackets, in two different ways, one on metal corbels and the other with chemical sealants… 👇
We also take the opportunity before the installation of the wall brackets to put back into service a front tie rod which gave way under stress with the deformation of the building.
Still some small structural work to finish on this floor.

ℹ️ Marsh plaster
1 volume of sand 0/2
2 volume of air lime CL90
3 volumes of coarse plaster
It is imperative to use air lime under penalty of expansive ettringite (see sources below) and a plaster without additives. Plaster hardens faster when it is not mixed, unlike lime. Only stir the part that will be used to prevent the mortar from setting too quickly.
