i saw she 2 times on festivals back the days in germany and she had a great stage presence and she is for sure the fittest woman i ever saw on stage...^^
Skin just rocks my world. There's a video of her singing with a full orchestra, and it's just joyous. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and the band are up there with Rage for their timing and playing simply, but with so much passion, it drags you in. One of the best bands of the 90's, and one of my all time favourite female vocalists.
Skin is incredible. also the rest of the band is brilliant and Cass the base player is imo the backbone in many songs especially this one. He is brilliant.
Do you weep when you hear it? ;) I was 20 then, I love it as much today as I did then. I just can't drive and listen too them, or I end up doing 100 :D
Skin is incredible. I was lucky enough to see them play in Brixton last year (I've lost count of how many times I've seen them play) and it was as great as always.
Saw Skunk Anansie in a small Theatre in Cambridge UK in about 1996 ish. They were supported by a small up and coming band called MUSE!!!! That was a damn good gig!!!😁
This is one of Skunk Anansie's grooviest songs, to be sure. If you want more of their rock side, "Selling Jesus" is a great banger. If you want a slow jam, "Secretly" (which really showcases Skin's incredible voice, not that it needs additional showcasing).
Just watched after seeing a a few other videos inc one charting her incredible vocal range (F3 to E6). This song isn't one of those songs with big range but it felt like she held back a little on this version and sang a little lower at times. Still great performance though, full of energy, plus the fun crouch down thing (borrowed off Coldplay at glastonbury). Hopefully at some point do another Skunk anansie reaction, maybe the video of Charlie big potato, or "We don't need who you think you are" or "Follow me down" (Jools Holland live ).
Well done to whoever suggested Skunk Anansie. One of the bands that are often over looked. Therapy? and Terrorvision are worth a look from a similar era. Or Super Furry animals if you want it a bit more psychadelic.
Probably been said but her guest vocals on sevendust licking cream are unique, powerful and awesome. The song is a banger too. GottA do official video to pay justice to her vocals
Skin / Skunk is one of Floor's inspirations - and Skunk is way underrated - she is a great performer. Speaking of great performers - you should react to Ayreon - The Day that the World breaks down. It has got 11!! of the best metal singers, in one single track - all of them performing in diff songs on the album. Really great - and it would be fun to see how many you recognize. 😉
Hi there Travis & Suzi Q: Love your channel, you guyz put so much work into it. Anywayz, Request time now: (SOAD)aka "System of a Down": Any song on their "Toxicity" album would be so appreciated, I hope you're all safe & well from NZ.
Hey, great reactions! I watched you guys reacting to bands like Nightwish and Rammstein and I have a suggestion for something a bit different but equally as awesome. I'm talking about the Mongolian metal band The HU. If you have time check out their song Wolf Totem (the official video), it is cool as fck.
Skin is such a Goddess. Such power and tone in her voice.

"Stoosh" came out in 1996, when I was 12 years old... and still, "Brazen" is one of my favourite songs, it touches me everytime

That might've gone a little smoother had they taught Skin the phrase "Get down" in Polish first lol. Always been a fan though...
