Besides the fact that i absolutely love this scene and love them together this is just a perfect setup for a spinoff and i hope that will come into fruition at some point and time because a lot of people are for it including those in charge of the show.
I'm just gonna say, I'm in love with these two, so a spin off would definitely be welcomed !!! Jed is my favorite character in legacies by far so him being developed even more, count me in !!! The fact is you're right, this episode could literaly be a set up for a new series with them as the leads, I mean if you look at it those two have their own thing going on in this episode, they don't have scenes with the others or scenes about saving the school, Jed just has one goodbye with Finch and that's it, so the way I see it, it could absolutly be a set up. Plus with them leaving the school it just opens so many doors for new stories. Just imagine evrything they could do with a show centered on them. First they could focus more on the wolves, because in the end the wolves, even though they're always around, they're always those who get the least developped out of all the creatures we've been followin since the beginning, so a show with a wolf as the lead would be great (yes he isn't a wolf anymore, but it doesn't mean he won't be one again, they could just do a season with him being human and then make him rebecome one 🤷♀). But not just that, they could also develope the Gods more, bring new ones, wake the ones asleep (I'm pretty sure it was said that some had been consumed by Malivore, so they could bring those ones too), they could also bring new creatures, not make a monster of the week thing but give them an actual story, bring new demi-gods (why not, Ben can't be the only on, come on !!!), give us more about Ben's past (for example we know he sole and gave magic to the world but we don't actually know how he did it). And obviously it would just be the occasion to developpe this relationship even more, which they were planning to do in season 5 😭, I mean, these two are amazing (actors and characters and they have insane chemistry). I swear I would die for a spinoff with them !!! I'm sorry that's a long comment, just me losing myself in my imagination as always 😅🤣but I just can't stop imagining everything they could do !!!
Don't worry about it I absolutely love comments like this because I'm on the exact same wave length with you. I'll add this because she was supposed to be a part of their last scene but it got cut and that's adding Jen to the mix because not only would i want to see the sibling bond with her and Ben but also i think her and Jed would get along really well. I even came up with a title that might sound cheesy but it fits called "Gods And Monsters'. Like you said their chemistry is great the acting is amazing and there is a foundation already for their story why not put it into development especially because a lot of people want to see it but has there have not been many or any Gay and Bisexual main protagonists in shows so that would be great as well.

I honestly wish Ben and her had at least one scene together, especially since she said they used to be close and she hated what she did to him. I would have loved to see them meet each other again, that would've been amazing. And not just that but we could also get more of her past too, I mean she's even older than he is and she was cast out on earth, their would be plenty of stories to tell, plus she know the other Gods even better than Ben !!!
