Great video! Proud of my Great Great Grandfather's service in the 1st Florida Regimental Infantry, CSA. He fought in the Battle of Santa Rosa Island and eventually to Shiloh where I have traced his Company to the Hornets Nest. He went on to fight in the Heartland Campaign. He was KIA in the Battle of Perryville, Ky. RIP
What are you proud of? That your Great, Great, Grandfather fought to uphold slavery? That would me be being proud my German uncle fighting for Waffen-SS in WW II against the Allies in Battle of Bulge. (After the war he was ashamed of that - he was only seventeen!)
@@Stephanos480If there was a civil war tomorrow you'd run to Canada so fast it would break the sound barrier. You can always tell the ones who rode the short bus to school since all their rhetoric is about ww2.
@@gern7535 Buckwheat! Is that an anti black insult? This is not like 1861. The divisions don't line up so neatly along regional lines. One section of the country is not claiming to be a separate republic.
I want to people don't realize the Spanish. While controlling the fort and saint augustine had full heads of hair. Many may be mistaken thinking that their heads were hard and pointy with no hair. But that was actually their helmets.
It's crazy how underrated this chanel is. As a Floridian I love hearing history of this great state.

Good video, God bless Robert E. Lee
Can we have a polite discussion of disagreement? I don't understand you fans of the rebellion. You would have us be two or more separate countries?
@@DennisMSullivaNews flash buckwheat. It's already separated and its going to get worse.

My great grandfather served in Martin's Company Light Artillery Battery from Florida. He died in the insane asylum at Chattahoochee in 1917.
Proud of Stonewall Jackson's and General Lee.🇲🇾💯

Florida is not small
In the 1860s it was !!!
In 1861, the population was small.
