Thanks for this, Florida Films.
101 years ago. It still disturbs me.
I gave a class on this story during Equal Opportunity Training. This was also one of my favorite movies when I was a child. So messed up how 1 cheating lying white woman ruined a whole black thriving town
Still today in 2024. White woman say a black man do it. We are terrorized.
Now waonion wantstaers 16 computer science 8
As a Pasco county resident of 18 years I have never heard this story. Great stuff😅
Great video. I love old Family Feud stories. They're always so crazy
Wonder if im part of that Whitehurst bloodline from some point. I don’t know many people on my dads side but he told me we came from French descent
Some Mandarin channel introduced this case. I fact check the information, and the search guide me here. Only 1.9k view. In China whenever government trying to hide anything, it trigger us curiousity, and the thing may even got exposed even more. And in Anglosphere, where suppose to be freespeech country, these case fall into dust.
We people of Florida are sill Rebels. It does not matter how many yankees you floud our state with.
We heard rumors about this place in Perry and Madison Florida in the 70s. Me and my Brother was threatened to be sent to the reform school in Marianna if we didn't straighten up. Crazy madness there.
Can't believe after all the times it was reported that nothing was done. 😢
You are making amazing video content. I just watched the video and your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content, I was analyzing your channel and noticed that You are struggling with video views and video ranking. May I share some tips on how you can achieve your goals?🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀👍👍👍
I wonder if the recent hurricanes have leached this crap out of the wrap...
It’s like wilderness camps
I can’t understand how someone could treat another human CHILD like that
I lived here, and was born here. I always heard about the boys being beaten. I remember when one would run away, thry would warn the community to be careful because they were dangerous, i realized they were afraid of us,and being returned to Dozier. They employed a lot of locals, so no,they don't want to admit what happened.
Let it run free return it to nature don’t we have a surplus in the state coffers get it done
My great grandfather served in Martin's Company Light Artillery Battery from Florida. He died in the insane asylum at Chattahoochee in 1917.
Them boys are thugs n violence how they communicate
I've lived in Florida all my life and never heard of this place until I drove by it a few weeks ago. I stopped to fly my drone and a guy stopped and told me a little about it's history. Now, here I am. It's sickening that such a terrible place existed here.
Please read “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead. 😢
Great video, is there a good source for the chain of command throughout the schools history?
Why the world doesn’t know about this place is beyond me. The suppression of information is unbelievable.
😊
Horrible voice-over.
We are exploring the place right now😅
Do you have any videos? I would love to see them.
Yes I actually do and I have pics
@@Z1PS_AN1M3EDITZ ok cool. I look forward to one day seeing them.
@@sg-zd8eb ok :)
What's funny?
Its criminal that we are taught, in so much depth, about all of the European wars and conflicts but not taught more about what specific significance and influence our home state has held on the world stage throughout history.
The Cross Florida Barge Canal Is Amazing!!!!
Womp womp
I want to people don't realize the Spanish. While controlling the fort and saint augustine had full heads of hair. Many may be mistaken thinking that their heads were hard and pointy with no hair. But that was actually their helmets.
Destroyed habitats in attempt to quadruple profits. Some day we’ll all be free
Really cool share. This is truly interesting
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Proud of my Great Great Grandfather's service in the 1st Florida Regimental Infantry, CSA. He fought in the Battle of Santa Rosa Island and eventually to Shiloh where I have traced his Company to the Hornets Nest. He went on to fight in the Heartland Campaign. He was KIA in the Battle of Perryville, Ky. RIP
😢😢😢😢
Thank you for your Honorable families service to the Confederate States of America.
@@sammyfolsom3928 💪♥️
What are you proud of? That your Great, Great, Grandfather fought to uphold slavery? That would me be being proud my German uncle fighting for Waffen-SS in WW II against the Allies in Battle of Bulge. (After the war he was ashamed of that - he was only seventeen!)
@@Stephanos480If there was a civil war tomorrow you'd run to Canada so fast it would break the sound barrier. You can always tell the ones who rode the short bus to school since all their rhetoric is about ww2.
I lived in the community of Eureka many years ago...NOW this all makes sense to me!
Florida is not small
In the 1860s it was !!!
In 1861, the population was small.
Proud of Stonewall Jackson's and General Lee.🇲🇾💯
Free state of Florida..
Love Florida history.
Good video, God bless Robert E. Lee
Can we have a polite discussion of disagreement? I don't understand you fans of the rebellion. You would have us be two or more separate countries?
@@DennisMSullivaNews flash buckwheat. It's already separated and its going to get worse.
@@gern7535 Buckwheat! Is that an anti black insult? This is not like 1861. The divisions don't line up so neatly along regional lines. One section of the country is not claiming to be a separate republic.
crazy the amount of bullshit and misinformation they were feeding the public
Another great way to ruin a beautiful state.
I always gave NIXON credit for bring the men home from the Vietnam war and now add this to his great things he did.
This never happened it does not exist
Yea it never got finished and the Rodman dam caused the blocked river to basically die, there’s less fish and no more migrating animals… so not good
The dam should be dismantled, and any existing canal returned to a natural state. Florida's water, wildlife, tourism, sealife and beaches depends on the integrity of the ecosystem. Projects like this destroy the ecosystem. The importance of the ecosystem isn't about "tree hugging", it's about the economic viability of Florida!!
Hush, its fine the way it is. you want to pay the costs for floods this system stops? no. ya dont.
@@Artoconnell the only thing it stops flooding of is wetlands lol its purpose was to be part of the canal not "stop flooding" which damns never do well anyways they concentrate water in a repository and increase flooding chance upstream of damn
