Some NFL teams have had far more success than others. There have only been a few dynasties in the Super Bowl era, and about one-third of NFL teams would probably fall into the category of having “Sad Histories.”
But every NFL club, good or bad, has had a handful game-changing stars and franchise icons throughout their history. If there were to be a Mount Rushmore for every NFL club, what would it look like? That’s what we’re here for. So let’s get into it.

One, the ones that got away due to injury or trade, like Greg Cook, Ki-Jana Carter, Ickey Woods, Charlie Joiner. And, two, Mike Brown the cheapskate owner who keeps the team millions under cap and never bothers to fund a bench, then wonders why we're out of contention by December.
TJ belongs on this list long before Dalton. Unless he was trying to find a player that best matches the uniform then I get it.

Was gonna comment this. Matthew Stafford literally is the best player to walk a football field on god. The lions can't do shit without him, but with him we often look like one of the best offensive teams in the league. This is of course with 0 o line and a lackluster run game at best most years. Any other team and he is a tb12 or a Manning or a Brees right now. The lions are just so fucking awful that somehow such an amazing player and arguably the best wide out ever can't even get them much more than above .500. Fuck he deludes the Madden ratings adjustors into the lions having a 80 overall offense or something just because they show flashes of brilliance in spite of the executive incompetence, but it's only because Stafford. His ability to read a defense is on par with Brady and mahomes, his toughness is near unrivaled, he threw a game winning pass with a totally dislocated shoulder and took a hit to it on the play, and it took a back injury to finally sideline him. Any other team would do so fucking well with him it's not even funny.

Massive snubs on Ken Riley (Bengals), Bob Lilly (Cowboys) Lance Alworth (Chargers) Frank Gifford (Giants) Gene Upshaw (Raiders) Calvin Johnson (Lions) Walter Jones (Seahawks). Some others I disagreed with, and the list could have given more credit to O-linemen. Some good stuff on here too though. As a packer fan, my Rushmore would be Hutson, Lombardi, Favre, and Rodgers. Lombardi representing the dynasty I think opens up Starr’s spot for Favre.

If you’re gonna put him up there then you need Curly Lambeau, too. Robert Kraft orchestrated the greatest dynasty ever and also figured out how to buy the NFL. Ok with that too. Same for guys like Halas, and Lambeau (even though he wasn't an owner due to the whole non profit thing, he was the head guy), and Wellington Mara. Those guys all did great things for football as a game helping it advance stages and get it to what it is today. But other than that the owners have a very hard time making a direct impact on the game of football like the guys of the field every game do.
