Totally agree I stayed in Montreal during town festival. The canopy after Montreal was magical!!! It was made by region authorities to bring tourist to the region.

You’ve inspired me to redo Le Puy. I plan to start my planning for my Camino September/October. The plan is to do Sarria to Santiago with a touristic stop at Finisterre. Then, I head back to Le Puy and redo the beginning to Conques. I do want to see Rocamadour so I need to figure out how to get to Figeac and then walk to Rocamadour. Thank you for the great videos.🤗❤️

Since you walked a long 35+ day I can understand why you didn't want to walk any extra km, but Larressingle is a nice place to stop for a break... Also, I think part of the way you walked [which you described at very flat and straight] was where there used to be an old railway line... at least that last portion into Eauze... Great photography !
You are keeping me motivated for my Le Puy start in August. We will be walking in September a year from yours, so it's good to see the weather. The Camino game was such fun for the town to put that there, I hope I find it on my walk. I have bought the Mimi Doodoo books already and have been planning. Has anyone just knocked on the door of a house and asked for water? Keep inpiring.
