May be its answer is yes because without consideration there is no valid contract will occur.
For commencent of contract of agency consideration is not essential. Its simply start through promise to each other.
In contract of agency, there is principal's obligation to give renumeration or commission to the agent.
So there is consideration between principal and agent.

consideration necessary nhi hota , ye exception hy section 25 ka jis m hy k without consideration , a valid contract come into existance but remember its a exception .
