I live in North Eastern Ontario, we normally get a lot of snow. Every year I would make a nice big pile of snow for my kid and his friends to slide on. Good to see you have a snowblower, I think you guys are going to get a lot of snow this year. I live in Sudbury Ontario, and we have almost no snow. With the strong El Nino on the west coast, it is going to be an interesting winter for those in the snow belts and in the path of lake effect snow.
Got stuck at the bottom of Cole Rd on the way home Monday night in this one! Had some fun with my 1025R Tuesday morning though and only broke one shear pin.
Your snowblower will change everything with snow removal. I plowed with a snow pusher and rear snow blower for many year; went to a front snowblower, and rear blade and wow, what a difference. Jealous of your snow. Thanks for your video.
That snow blower is going to be great. Like many of us who have them, you're going to find out that a cab of some kind will be your next purchase...lol. On windy snowy days, getting snow in your face and down your back sucks and the wind changes direction without warning as you probably already have discovered for yourself. I hope the fittings come in soon and we can this beast in action. Great video as always and we'll see you on part 2. Cheers from Sask, Canada. The land of no snow ...Yet!!
From sask? And you’re watching snow removal videos?!? Don’t you have enough of your own snow to deal with?!? Appreciate you watching! Can’t wait for this blower to be fully functional!
Elliott- We Canadians are pretty snow free at the moment. I'm just across the border from you in S. Ontario and we have nothing on the ground. It all blew your way off the lake. Our ski areas near Barrie have snow but that's about it.
Greetings from Wisconsin! That blower is a beast! I run a 68" MK Martin Meteor on my L2501. I've done tons of videos on my channel, and also using my snow pusher and other implements for moving snow. As you know, no 2 snows are the same. It's nice to have options. Once you've got your chains on, try taking the loader arms off, or at least the pusher. Once my ground freezes i usually just use my blower, and it handles like a sports car in the tight spaces. That front pusher makes the tractor like a hammerhead shark, it cuts down so much on your maneuvering. I still need my pusher with the back drag for all my inside corners, so i usually just set the pusher down once i start blowing the snow. Cheers
OMG WOW I heard on the news, wow, I dont think we got a total of 13 all last winter here in North East Indiana, I am still doing leaf clean up here. stay safe
I'm glad the snowblower did not disappoint. The lights you added to your tractor really work well. We got about 3" where I am in SE Michigan. That's a pretty good start for you for snowblowing season seeing that it is still fall. I am looking forward to seeing you get your tractor and snow removal equipment dialed in to make this task easier.
Keep that snowblower and pusher coated with Fluid Film and it will work even better, no clogs and nothing will stick to the impeller or pusher, plus it will keep the rust at bay.
@@EverythingElliott Yes, I just started doing it this year and feel like an idiot for not doing it years ago. I've been plowing my entire life and always fought sticky now, it can really slow you down. After taking my snowblower apart this summer, grinding all the rust and paint off and repainting, I was determined to keep the rust away. I didn't think the Fluid Film would help that much but this storm we had last week was the wettest, heaviest snow we get and it blasted right thru no snow sticking whatsoever. Plus it keeps everything lubricated. Definitely recommend it.
I just now had a chance to see your video with the blower and to push it Looks great awesome job can't wait to see the shoot rotate left to right and up and down keep up the good work looking forward to seeing part 2😊
I have a pusher blower combo on mine too, works great. I'm fortunate enough to have a cab on my tractor though, that makes all the difference using the blower.
Rear blower with front plow/pusher is the way to go for those of us that deal with lots of snow. Stacking it you just run out of places to put it and end up with snow piles into June. We got ~16" of the heavy/wet stuff out of that storm here in northern VT but picked up another 6-8" since then and still snowing at noon on 11/29 😂
Yeah, I used to live up there...winters wernt much different. Just seemed like the snow storms there dumped less snow per hour, but lasted longer. Seems here the storms are only a day but will dump 2' of snow in that single day.
11/29... No snow yet for me in Pittstown, NY. Im anxiously waiting for some! After watching this video I realized two things... 1). Really need to get those auxbeam lights on my tractor. 2). Im wondering why dont i have a blower on the tractor instead of plowing with a 6.0 diesel and making a big pile and digging up the driveway from time to time?!?!?! 😂 I guess I'm going to do some research now, haha

Glad the snowblower worked out good! I've used a 3 point snowblower for the past 18 years and they are great but don't get rid of your pusher yet, you'll find conditions it may be the better tool.
Congratulations on your snowblower! Lake effect snow is brutal. I remember working in NFTA tunnel at night and dealing with the snow at the end of the shift. Buffalo is beautiful in the summer but winter??? I agree with a few of your subscribers, consider at least a cover on the roll bar. It appears that snow is lake effect? You will notice the blower will throw snow farther when you get dry snow. If that is lake effect, it is very heavy and wet and doesn't throw as well. It's actually fun at times getting to use equipment like this. As long as we are not still doing it in May of next year. 🤣
It is lake effect snow...that's about all we get until Lake Erie freezes in late winter. Most don't understand the properties of lake effect vs dry snow they get at home.

I found on ice if I lose the rear weight, I can't move on the ice either. We do not get enough snow here to need a blower. I rarely use chains on my rear tires after adding a rear blade. What if you were to put some gravel or weights in the loader to offset the rear. Just food for thought My tractor is 2wd. it is a much heavier tractor. I would think if you had some xtra weight on the nose it would help the front get more traction. If you got stuck on the rears lifting the blower a little would get you out. I think it would be hard to get it stuck and possibly work better. It all seems to be trial and error on sometimes. I was just hoping it may help. I hate the Ice it can be tricky to work around. It took me a while to get my weight right to have the loader loaded and keep moving.
Just stumbled across your channel due to the algorithm but I like the video. I am looking at mid sized tractors like yours for my own snow removal and was wondering if you would be willing to share information on your tractor. HP, blower size, how far it throws, and how well it handled the event over all? Sounded like you have a gravel driveway, as do I. How did the blower handle the gravel? Thank you! I will drop a like and follow in appreciation. Have a great day!
No problem! I have a Kubota L4701 which I believe is 43 hp to the PTO. The blower is 7 foot wide 2 stage, unknown brand or model. It threw the snow about 20-30 feet and handled the storm surprisingly well. I have a millings driveway which is about the same as gravel, I found that the skid shoes were digging in a little more than I like. I plan to replace the skid shoes with wheels to allow it to roll over the gravel rather than push through it.

Couldn't afford one...if I purchased a cab tractor, I would have had to step down to a B series tractor, and I wouldnt be able to accomplish much with a B series tractor...
I would not invest in a cab for that size tractor. I might sell yours & investigate a TYM or kioti in the 55-60 up range. I bought an aftermarket, all glass, hard cab for a Kubota MX, & do not regret the investment $ a little over $4K.
I can’t even find an aftermarket hard cab for my tractor. Seems like they make them for every model except mine! And with the way prices on new tractors are these days I can’t afford to buy a new one…
How is that global warming working out for you? We had a somewhat mild snow season here in N/E Washington this year, lots of rain to help with the pending forest fires.
We had a very mild winter for our standards. Even the temp was warmer than normal. I’ve only gone through 15 facecord of firewood. Last year I went through 26!
@EverythingElliott don't mind me. I just roam the countryside spreading the good news far and wide for all to hear. The good news of diesel fuel and other bulk distilled hydrocarbon based fuels. Evil forces in this nation and the world moreover seek to extinguish the hydrocarbon flame of civilization. Every time I see diesel powered equipment plowing snow, I think about that flame. Every time I see linemen in their diesel trucks fixing the electrical grid, I think about that flame. I hope you do to, as well as many others who may read this. God bless you, and go in peace, my brother
I think I can speak for some of us. No need to apologize for your excitement. I'm in my late sixties and still get that way with new pieces of equipment!
simple answer: Money...I wouldnt have been able to afford a machine this size if a cab was one of my requirements. I would have had to step down to a 20ish HP machine to afford a cabbed tractor.
I think this Snowblower is going to make a huge difference this year...think I should pile all the snow in one location and make a sledding hill?!

I would consider a tractor with cab☃
I would consider that as well, if my finances allowed it...but until then, I'll have to bundle up!
@@EverythingElliott have a small loader without cab. The cold is ok but hard snow blowing in your face is hard.
Keep up the good work!🤠
You should get a plow for your Truck
Meh I don’t want to beat my truck up
i live south of rochester and we dont get anything close to what you get
That’s the problem living so close to the lake
Its understandable
Glad you get it! My wife thinks I'm crazy...
No snow in Alberta..enjoy!
It’s coming! Just wait!
In Buffalo why would you not have an encloses cab?
Because I can’t afford one…
Great video, what mic are you using?
The mic I used in this video is the DJI mic that comes with the creator combo of the DJI pocket 2
You live in Buffalo and no friggin cab for that Kubota?
Couldn't afford one...if I purchased a cab tractor, I would have had to step down to a B series tractor, and I wouldnt be able to accomplish much with a B series tractor...
Have to get you a cab son.
I know...its on the wish list!
I love watching snow fall from my warm cabin in Arkansas. Forgive me. I had many years of blizzards when I lived up north.
Stay warm my friend!
I grew up in WNY but I live in Florida now. I miss it but not enough to move back. 😂 What town do you live in?
Not much snow to deal with in Florida, that's for sure. I will take the snow over the hurricanes though! I'm in Southern Erie County.
You need a cab. Lol.
Couldn’t agree more
Subed
YOU NEED A CAB. !!!!!--!-!!
I know, but I just can’t afford a new tractor. You buy it, I’ll drive it!
Beautiful tractor. But, a CAB would be nice. Or an umbrella. Great video.
Cab would be fantastic...just not in the budget...
You need a tractor with a cab. I would never put a snow blower on a tractor with no cab.
I need money…money to buy a tractor with a cab…gotta start somewhere.
Uhh ok would have been faster and easier to use the FEL
FEL with a becket?
I would not invest in a cab for that size tractor. I might sell yours & investigate a TYM or kioti in the 55-60 up range.
I bought an aftermarket, all glass, hard cab for a Kubota MX, & do not regret the investment $ a little over $4K.
I can’t even find an aftermarket hard cab for my tractor. Seems like they make them for every model except mine! And with the way prices on new tractors are these days I can’t afford to buy a new one…
Where he at? Peanut butter and jelly with a baseball bat
It's always peanut butter jelly time.
Atleast buy and mount a parasol on your Kubota so you dont get snowed on... :)
Not a bad idea!
I think you need a better tractor now with a 3 point hitch and PTO on the front. And maybe an enclosed cab to keep you warm and dry
I’d love a cab tractor…just comes down to affording one, just not in the budget.
Having to look backwards all the time you’ll end up hating the blower.
Front mount blowers are way out of my price range, so I’ll just have to deal with it…
Next time you pay a visit to the voting booth, remember which political party hates diesel powered equipment.
Not sure where this point came from, I’m very much pro-fossil fuels. I wouldn’t be able to drive my trucks or use my tractor without diesel fuel…
I went in the house to tell my wife how excited I was, and she just doesnt understand. Looked at me with a cocked head and said "ok?"...women....
Hahaha. Whoopedoo
Anytime spent on the tractor is better than time spent at work
@EverythingElliott yup you got that right sir!
Why do no 1 have cabs on there machines to keep you dry and warm
simple answer: Money...I wouldnt have been able to afford a machine this size if a cab was one of my requirements. I would have had to step down to a 20ish HP machine to afford a cabbed tractor.
@@EverythingElliott in the UK its only about £1.000 more to have a cab
@@butchsweeneyooff I wish. It’s like a $6,000-$10,000 option here depending on which tractor brand and model.
Isn't there an aftermarket ghetto cab set up for this machine?
@@MC-rr3ewthey have the plastic like ones, but I’m not about that life. If I’m buying an aftermarket cab, it’s going to be a hard cab
is everything a drama queen event.....this is just snow ....not a storm!
The people that live in areas that don’t get snow would disagree, but this is business as usual for me.
You keep driving on it and packing it down…..you’ll have an ice rink in no time on your dirveway
Meh. That’s the life I lead. I don’t want to scrape it to gravel because I’ll end up just taking my driveway with me.
