This is the Gospel Message Of Salvation (Only Jesus Christ Of Nazareth died for Our sins while on a Cross was then buried in a tomb then rose from the dead in 3 days).
I'm never going to forget how I was introduced to Pestilence. Smoked fat bong rips in the best buy parking lot (salidestoned area northern ca) in my buddy's Ford Bronco.. I was like 16ish? Or so, and this shit just blew me away! I ve always been a thrash metal fan and to hear this marriage of death/thrash was everything for me at the time! That "cycle" sounding riff is still one of the coolest riffs in metal

Wish Martin recorded vocals for this, his voice is just so suffocating! At glad at least nowadays I can hear his epic vocals with Asphyx and Hail of Bullets.
Me gusta de aqui en adelante también cuando experimentan. Ademas la portada de este album es misteriosa queriendo mostrar los nuevos caminos que componen.
I don't see much similarity between Patrick Mameli & Chuck, but definitely in their prog metal style. This is a musically brilliant album. Came out same year as Human, so go figure.
@o8MetalHead8o - couldn't agree with you more. i don't dislike the rest of their albums completely, but they never came close to the complete masterpiece of Death Metal that is Consuming Impulse ever again. that line-up was Pestilence at their peak. the production, the eerie atmosphere of the riffs, and of course Van Drunen's ungodly double-toned throat. HAILS.
Si, el Testimony of the ancients lo compré hace unos 12 años, creo que el bajista era Tony Choy, creo que también estuvo en el Spheres, sin embargo me quedo con las épocas Malleus Maleficarum

since you dont want to use google translator, and neither am i lol but i got a good idea of what he is saying. he mentions chuck, and if you listen close to the solo on this song, it kinda sounds like a solo chuck himself would play plus the word similiar is used so put it together patrick mameli on this song playing the solo sounds simliar to chuck
Thank god cassette tapes are OBSOLETE now.I used to get so sick of tapes getting lost, destroyed. Now if my music fucks up,if I can't hit the "RESET" button, just erase that music and resynch to the mp3 scan disk.NEVER LOST MUSIC AGAIN.WELCOME TO THE NEW MILLENIUM.
Wow the vocals really remind me of Spiritual Healing era Schuldiner, that riff is fucking killer too.

After all this years respect from Belgium
This album is chock full of great riffs and still sounds awesome after almost 20 years since its release. Great stuff.

That thrashy guitar solo section at 1:59 always makes me wanna destroy everything in my immediate radius
Pure power and energy live. Great band!!!
That string part in the intro reminds me of something from Doom's game soundtrack.
100%, that brutal riff along with the creepy synth sounds like it belongs in one of the first 2 doom games
Great album, puchased this on cassette ages ago. Stigmatized is awesome and whole album is one of metal's finest.
The vocals sounds so much like my favorite death metal band of all time " Death "
this might my favorite kind of Death Metal vocals. :D
This is my FAVORITE death metal album!!! The more you listen, the more little subtle things come up to the surface, it's almost like reading Neitschze
LEGENDARY!!!!
LA MEJOR BANDA DE METAL EN NETHERLANDS ...SALUDOS DESDE BARRANCA PERU

my favorite album....
Chuck? I find it similar to Tardy.
I don't see much similarity between Patrick Mameli & Chuck, but definitely in their prog metal style. This is a musically brilliant album. Came out same year as Human, so go figure.
Doesn't matter all three are great true death metal legends
what a classic! love it!
I enjoy Alters of Madness aswell
I agree with suri risu, Its the jazz & funk, punk & speed. i have had this lp from new and its one of my FOOKIN' favourites. The tempo is spot on !
Fantastic
I enjoy the E minor half step progression almost halfway through. It sounds like Emperor's song "Ye Entrancemperium".
I want and i need a t- shirt of Pestilence!!!🗣👀👏👍🤘💀
With Atheist, Suffocation, Death, Morbid Angel and Pestilence among others, 1991 was one hell of a year for death metal.
Entombed, dismember, unleashed, immolation, convulse, sororicide, cannibal corpse, carbonized
Ive been listening to certain tracks from this for a year, some I havent heard as much.
Stigmatized best song off a great album
these riff are just amazing!!!
Old school! NICE!
I hope this type of music gets revived!
Used to have this and consuming impulse both on cassette. Didn't have the other two though
the verse riff sounds a bit like Kreator's No Reason to Exist.
I hear it.
I love Kreator!
@@roshangupta1403 Who doesn't?
Not much
@@jaimuzyka3177 Whats better from 1991 in your opinion, Human by death or this?(a valid comparison since both are tech death)
Nothing wrong with that. I commend you on being able to share your opinion in a civilized manor. The internet needs more people like you.
Brings back memories of my youth!!!!
Timeless masterpiece

Consuming impulse is overshadowed by Altars of madness from the same year sadly
Why hasn't anybody posted the whole album?? This takes me back to the days of cassettes!!
Rock and roll!! Yeah 💀
Now this is the best Pestilence album!
@BAZ INGA yes definetly spheres i love the raw heavy production on the album
and Consuming Impulses ...
@@satanworshippers2614 This has more number of highlights compared to spheres, no spheres song can compare to this 1
One of my very favorites. Thanks!!\m/ Lily
My favourite band
Nostalgy trip here. Love how the cover looks like a Dark Souls/Elden Ring dungeon, lol.
classic stuff
Need to do it digital masteres. Was a great album 20 odd years ago but remastered would make it stand out on top was one of my fav back in the day
Peter Nugent hammerheart records remastered the first 4 pestilence albums in 2017
Patrick Uterwijk
Thats awesome.
Amazing song
BEST. ALBUM. EVER.
They're one of the few bands that have been consistent throughout their career. Malleus through Spheres is an incredible run!
einfach nur geil!!!!
I have it, and it's a treasured item of my collection.
about time someone dropped this!

great song, Death metal at its best
Their BEST album (imo)
Love this song!!! ;-D
Chuck Schuldiner/Death influence is so apparent.
there BEST album... they have TALENT
@dethkult yeah dude and the like cool synth stuff they did in echos of death and other songs. so bad ass
first time I heard thos album I was on two tabs of cid....
Crazy !!!
That Chuck Schuldiner vibe though.
That's the same thing I said. Swap Patrick out for Chuck and alter the guitar tone slightly and it's a Death album.
+Mr. Sinista Productions, LLC. Song...not album
porque es el mismo estilo, death metal
Tambien me suena a Possessed, la voz.

Well said sir.

this was the first death metal cd that I bought!
Was my first death metal piece, too.
This song is the combination of Forgotten Past by Death and Extreme Aggression by Kreator, fucking awesome!
2:13 fuckin PISSED 🤘🤬
I think there was a video for this one right? It used to be on youtube... Great video too!
You should check out their follow-up album "Spheres" ;-D
He is saying that patrick mameli has a similar voice to schuldiner.
that riff!
Thrash and Death pure fucking energy.ImI
sounds like a bit of infernal death structure and riffs...
👎 death has song like torn to pieces zombie ritual land of no return
ah 91! what a great year for Death Metal
One of my personal top five riffs in metal 2:12
Yeah coolest sounding triplets I've heard
My personal favourite is Entombed's Clandestine.
