So sick - had no idea, thought it might have been Mark. Loved this solo as a kid, was one of the first I tried to learn when I started practicing seriously. Watched your video, and man - I did NOT transcribe it correctly back then. Lol!

Idk but I mean I assume they made the album available for purchase when they released it. I did find another version on TH-cam where the songs were separate but OP fucking had to put his channel intro in the intro of every song ruining all of them

This is not death metal.
And Metallica's Power Metal demo isn't really power metal, and Venom's black metal album is debated on if it's Black Metal...very strange. Also, this split album was released in '84, so while it predates both Death and Possessed's debut albums, it was also released at the same time of some their early demo tapes, so why this album has this title I have absolutely no clue.
This was 84. The term "death metal" really didnt mean much back then. In media at least I feel like the term "death metal" was slapped to anything that felt waster and grittier than Judas Priest. And this did. No matter the name, this is like the most sought after album I do not own. It's very expensive if you find it in a good condition.

Dark avenger would have been a great underground metal band the only band on here that did not record anything else.
Actually they've made the demo tape a couple of years later, but it isn't that great. Btw I've enjoyed Heartlyne recordings, that was AOR band with some Dark Avenger members. Not heavy, but nice.
Need to do it digital masteres. Was a great album 20 odd years ago but remastered would make it stand out on top was one of my fav back in the day
