This concept is a good strategy to organize housing systems in Africa generally or in uganda specifically. Because such houses have approved plan, good drainage etc and they favour average ugandan if this system is popularised it will be a solution for poor semi urban planning
I doubt it. Look at how closely packed together the houses are. Your neighbors see what goes on in your house, no privacy, no parking space, no children's play area. Who pays 120,000,000/= for that plus insurance of 1,200,000/= annually forever and hidden Home Owners Fees?? No intelligent Ugandan would do that! Those homes are empty for a reason. Go buy land and build your house.

Please clarify on the insurance fee. Is it an annual fee of 1.2M, a monthly fee of 1.2M, or a one-off payment followed by the monthly rent. Also, what would be the cost if someone wants to buy and own at once. Or can one renegotiate a shorter payment period like 2 or 3 years?

No one cares about the so called privacy but ofcos us Ugandans tulowooza kweloga anyway.. it's a good project though 120millions minus insurance is quite much for an average ugandan but if u have job security in mid 20's this is good. 10yrs sound like a long time until you realise how fast time goes
This is a very good deal. Wow..... thank you. People are renting in the city and paying 1.2m. Why not pay it here and later own the house after 10 years?
It's a good idea but they don't give Titles, what happens when the owner of the Title/construction company fails to pay off the bank, that means the residents will be stuck with useless agreements., look what happened to Jomayi.
It's a good idea. I like it because of security. If i want the one of 3 rooms (1m) per month. Can i pay 60m for 5 years and i start to pay instalment and insurance from that period onwards without paying insurance for the first 5 years
@@edgak2 that's for those with little calculations paying millions in insurance and same time have to pay mortgage it's really unfriendly. Would you go for it if you are the one
