Made with : - very high quality MTX 250c (40$)
- high quality 6.5 inch AIYIMA aluminium passive radiators from Aliexpress (9$/pair)

Tuned for 30-40 hz basses
- mdf wood
- lepy lp-808 2*11watts high quality sound super bass (200 watts in peak) from amazon (13$)

Not really, the JBL boombox actually has deep bass. This speaker, while it is great in its own respect, is mostly harmonic bass (which still sounds cool but it isn't real bass technically).

you mean you want max efficiency ? for that you need to put the PR far enough from the active drivers
@@thds4815 I'm going to use low box volume and invert the PRs in reverse so I add a bigger size to your board and so hit very low

It is very funy that you get insane bass near to the jbl boombox (wich is supposed to be 20watts per channel on battery) with only 10 WPC !!! It get's as loud as it but way cleaner, those mtx are so well optimised !!!!!

Sounds too distorted. Good movement from the radiators, seeing them at the right frequency is nice for a change vs other videos when they don't move at all and the OP is puzzled. Overall good build, just not great.

That cabinet is far too small. Give them at least 1 cuft (30 metric liters) to get anything half decent out of these. Even that won't be perfect, but MTX doesn't publish any TSP on them. Supposedly they are high qts free air speakers that are not suited for such a project at all.

And on the other hand this box is small because this is made with passive radiators, this is the advantage of those kind of enclosure, the size
