- Join me on my bikepacking trip around Lake Constance aka Bodensee! This route was 270 km long and I split it into two days. It's been on my bucket list for a while - and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Hopefully, this video will give you an idea of what's expecting you if you want to do this trip as well.

I would say don't get in your head too much, and the balance is fine for the format that you are presenting. You could do some voice overs, but I like seeing you and hearing your thoughts. Do what excites you, and you will connect with those that like it. It was a beautiful route full of lovely sights. You made me want to ride my bike there some day. You are lovely, and I like your energy and passion. I hope this was helpful.
I completed this on a weekend as well, one of the most beautiful flat routes near Swizterland. 😄
Watched last night. Was really good. Didn’t know it was hilly. We are doing Edinburgh to Munich in Two weeks including the Bodensee.
Oh cool :) I don't think it was especially hilly, but it felt like it to me because I'm so used to flats 😂
@@AlineGoesCycling After riding 1600 km we found the hills no problem. The Bodensee is beautiful.

Great Job! Beautiful views! Very different from where I ride in Kansas. I just bought a gravel bike. I have always done road bikes. It is fun to see you on your adventures with your new bike and how you’re packing for your day. Keep it up!

Yess! It's been a while, but now I'm going to post more consistently again :)
For road riding I definitely go with my rim brake bike which is about 5 kg lighter than my endurance/gravel bike hills are a lot easier 🚴🏽♀️🚴🏽♀️👍👍

Hi. I just saw your videos from previous bike trip (1st one) on the 8bar Mitte 3. Why did you change bikes? Would love you perspective on that bike. Thank you!
I liked the 8bar, but it was only borrowed for that trip. I wanted to make sure that I actually enjoy bikepacking before I invest money in my own gravel/touring bike :)
In case you're wondering why I ultimately decided for Giant: I felt like I got more for my money and I just looove the design. Also, a friend recommended Giant because he had great experiences with the brand :)
Actually the German part of the route is much more pleasant because closer to the water, more cafe's/restaurants and less industrial areas to pass
I personally enjoyed the other parts more :)

I'm not exactly sure which model it is, since I had it for a while. But it's a folding lock from Abus.
