I read somewhere that the demographics that spends the most on luxury items are Asians from China, Singapore, Korea, etc. Blackpink seem to have a reach and a target audience compatible to designer brands, whereas western celebrities don’t really have that.

When I first got into fashion Ysl was the first brand that I did a deep dive into, so it'll always hold a soft spot for me and she looks so striking wearing it. Overall another excellent video, now that Rosé has opened up her own youtube channel I can only wish this ends up in her feed someday.
I think there is a contradiction with Rosé haha, from one side she is supee friendly, sweet and soft...but her other side is fierce, determined and strong. It's just so beautiful and you can see it on hee style. Sometimes she is very girly wearing pastel colors and flowers, but also wears strong monocromatic pieces that make the image of a sensual woman

My biggest complaint is with BP’s stylist and team who I feel are too restrictive in how they let the girls express themselves. This is especially obvious with YSL since it’s a very edgy, sexy brand. She has to wear spaghetti straps under see-through blouses, no red lips or bold liner for group activities since it’s “too much” for k-makeup, etc. She really shines during the YSL campaigns since their team is in charge. They’re a perfect mix of her and the brand’s image.

it was definitely a pr/marketing move to get the girls into fashion houses. it has definitely given them another place to find fans and be out there but on the other hand it has on some levels backfired as many now have considered the girls more as models than actually idols. i mean, good move from yg to get them to fashion houses, but probably shouldve given them proper time in the music industry before. the lack of music compensated with fashion stuff really served blinks by givng the fans content in that way, but not them as musicians and idols. sure they have topped the charts in many places but from what ive seen they are really praised for their looks more than their capabilities in music (obvs blinks to both but talking about ppl other than blinks), which is quite sad. youd think theyd want to be known for their music and abilities to make music more than the looks and fashion. imo yg should have bigger focus on the music than the fashion and them being ambassadors. then again, teddy keeps making all their stuff so idk if theres a way out of there either lol. just want the girls to actually do music themselves and not seem like pretty girls who sing what they are given to.
