@HodgePodgeVids1 Yes, it is a fallacy. But the fallacies only apply when making arguments against a specific proposition. It is fallacious because under the constraints of the argument there is nothing that supports the conclusion. That doesnt mean there's nothing inherently wrong about thinking "x will lead to y" or arguing it against a general proposition. You can do that all day. People don't understand what the fallacies actually are or what they are meant to accomplish by pointing them out.

Granted, I don’t care if it’s animated or not-producing and distributing imagery of children in a sexual manner, even if drawn, is still disgusting and feeds into a predatory world view that children are for consumption. Gender ideology (which I believe they even dispute it being an ideology) does not even rely on lies, but ideological fascism/tyranny. You literally cannot debate transgender people because they just dismiss, silence as transphobic, or pretend that it actually affirms their view anything that would destroy their viewpoint. I am convinced that you cannot be a transgender advocate and act rationally. Keep in mind I am someone who really does not like calling an idea "irrational" I think that almost every idea has at least SOME support even if it is weak. I think it's more complex than that. This is essentially a conflict of objective and subjective. Objectively, someone is A. Subjectively, someone is B. For example, if someone is ugly, they are objectively "ugly" when compared to what is the aesthetic norm but subjectively that person is never going to accept they are "ugly" because it's a "bad word". So, in essence, people want to be loved but at the same time that "love" comes from others.

Yeah, "being yourself" means accepting what you are, not pretending to be something that your genes, physical characteristics, hormones, bone structure/density, muscle mass, and brain chemistry say you most certainly are NOT. It's *denying* being yourself.
There's nothing wrong with being a female with masculine interests, nor a male with feminine interests. It's when you think somebody needs to be "re-educated" to delude themselves into thinking they're actually the opposite gender, and convince them to irreversibly mutilate and chemically castrate themselves, *major* problems arise.

I think the origin of all this mess is that people don't care for one another anymore. For example, if someone has anorexia, instead of actually helping them, people tend to judge and isolate that person which ends up reinforcing their behavior because it becomes "me vs them". This is clearly a product of how selfish our society has become. Why do you think everyone is talking about "acceptance"? It's because nobody actually cares for one another.

No. you're conflating something that can cause the death of a person due to a process called STARVATION vs ALLOWING someone to live their life in a way that makes them happy and doesn't harm others or themselves. You can personally see it as harming themselves, but generally that's your opinion based on the fact you don't feel conflict over a discrepancy in your sex and gender.

    • @FireheadLazzo
      @FireheadLazzo 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@blaiseaimee7098 You really shouldn't because this is not a good analogy. Anorexia involves a form of body dysmorphia, which is when you perceive your physical body as something other than it is. For example, anorexic people see fat where none exists and it causes them distress.
Trans people are talking about body dysphoria, which is when your internal identity does not match with what you see in the mirror. This is something that non-trans people also experience. When you look in the mirror and see a belly and it makes you feel uncomfortable, that's a mild form of body dysphoria. Trans people who experience body dysphoria often feel this discomfort for every aspect of their body.
tl;dr This is not a good analogy because an anorexic person sees fat in the mirror where there isn't any. A trans person does not look in the mirror and see a penis where there isn't one. The two are not analogous.

The fact that the weird dog believes that he prefers that weirdness for himself is the only moral foundation of why it is good for him to be weird. In my home country, in response to the Cass report in the UK, every single mainstream media outlet published the same article from a mother who has one supposedly trans kid and one supposedly non-binary kid (what are the odds?!) arguing against the report. The trans identifying boy was put on puberty blockers at 10, then estrogen at 14. The article admits that concerns about future fertility were raised before the estrogen, but that the boy chose to go ahead, as if a kid between 10 and 14 could possibly make such a decision.
Every MSM outlet published this same article.

Using red light and green light? If we act in contradiction to the traffic light, someone is going to get hit and be hurt or die. But if a boy wears a dress? Who gets hurt? If a girl wears pants? Who dies?
No one. That's who, no one is hurt by Timmy wearing frilly dresses, or Jane wearing a 3 piece suit like gentlemen in 1900s did.
So please, explain to me the dangers of allowing men to wear dresses, because as it was argued it's "arbitrary" which means it doesn't matter, just like the reason why we use red to mean stop and green to mean go is arbitrary, the difference is one is deployed to make driving safer by using such colors to communicate non verbally. A man in a dress doesn't harm anything other than apparently your own sense of masculinity where everyone must act in accordance to their gender/sex, because you are seemingly insecure about what others do.

      I can name a few...
      Society as a whole.
      The truth.
Women that have a right to a safe space without some bearded dude with autogynephillia entering their space (to get off).
Women athletes doing their absolute best just to have a biological male come in and dominate them, and even take scholarships and opportunities from them.
Children, who are confused enough in their identity, don't need to be needlessly confused further, and who also have a right to that safe space listed above.
Men who feel like less of a man just because an ideology is telling them they should be a girl if they're not full of toxic masculinity.
      True, old-school feminists.
Gays and lesbians (it's the new conversion therapy).
Neurodivergent people (ASD, ADHD, personality disorders) because they are super easily influenced into the ideology more than others.
      REALITY (and biology, and nature).
      Their families.
Counter culture. It used to be cool or about music, but now it's dangerous and about victimhood.
Those of us that fought to abolish stereotypical gender norms in the first place, just to have this cult tell us that you must fit into a gender stereotype.
      Actual transsexuals.
      Mental health (which is everyone).
Those struggling with acceptance. Just be yourself, not something you're not.
People trying to fight against big pharma when this just plays right into it.
      Detransitioners.
      Actual victims.
People of dating age. This sure makes it harder, which means....
Future humans. They'll be less of them. Because it still takes a man and a woman to make one.
The ones that did fall to this ideology and thus created a sense of victimhood that wouldn't have existed before, which proved more detrimental to their mental health which led them to off themselves.
      Just to name of few.
Plus you know full damn well, it's not just about a guy that wears a dress. It's a slippery slope that goes much, much deeper. Nobody really had a problem with that before. It's when this became a movement and started targeting children, and stripping women's rights away from them, and literally trying to alter reality through manipulation of language and everything else, that it became problematic. By all means, let your freak flag fly.....but there's also nothing wrong with 'normal'. Normal is normal for a reason (that's valid).
There's no reason for this to be so convoluted. I've always hated pink, didn't like wearing dresses, hate flowers & pastels & frilliness, always got on better with the guys than the gals. I was voted most eccentric in high school. Played sports, and a bass instrument in band. I would totally be pressured and told I was trans or non-binary if I were growing up today, but guess what? Even if I have a majority of masculine traits over feminine traits...
      I'm still 100% woman.

I'd love to see Trent Horn talk with James Lindsay about Gnostic/Hermetic subversion in the modern day. Given this video, the Gnostic and Hermetic underpinnings of the Queer Theory [where this Transgender, Enbyism, Therian, and MAP movements derive] would be an excellent place to start. The dialectical [i.e. Gnostic and Hermetic] underpinnings of Feminism and "Toxic Antifeminism", which share the same dialectical logic and substrate just with the "privileged" and "oppressed" categories inverted, might be another good topic.
It seems to me as if there is a conflict of metaphysics, specifically where reality originates from. The Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, and Objectivist view is that reality, being knowable to the human mind, is rooted in the objective. Such that reality is real, regardless of whether anyone can or will perceive it.
The other two stem from the error I was taught, but rejected, in the US military: perception is reality.
The second view is that reality is intersubjective. That is to say, reality originates from the intersubjective experience of people. People who believe this have a vested interest in changing the collective weltanschauung because the essence of things derives not from some objective reality outside of our perceptions, in their view, but rather from the collective perspective. In which case you can change reality by changing the perspective of the collective into something postmodernists call a hyperreality.
The third view is that reality is intrasubjective. That reality arises from the individual, not collective, subjective experience. Of course, this means your perceptions can never be wrong.
Both the erroneous viewpoints lead to some pretty dark places.

Hey Trent! Just wanted to let you know that there is a condition in which a person can be born with male chromosomes but have perfectly female anatomy- in fact there are two of these conditions- Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome and Sywer’s syndrome.
But even such cases, these people are not ‘true’ women. They cannot menstruate nor can they produce children. Thus, it does not in ANY WAY invalidate the traditional understanding of man and woman.
A male is an individual who possesses the predisposition or tendency to produce a particular kind of gamete by virtue of his genetic composition. Even if this tendency were to be obstructed or masked (by say some injury or developmental aberration), the definition for a man does not change.
An oak seed does not cease to be an oak seed even if you burn its exterior to prevent it from germinating. It still remains the ‘kind’ of thing it was. In other words, this is a change in accidental form and not substantial form.

"we follow the biology, dammit!" followed up with "people who don't menstruate or have children aren't biologically women and that is a real belief I genuinely, unironically hold." I can immediately think of an entire portion of people on your side of the aisle who would gladly ask where the loose screw is. what do you think they'd tell you, eh? how many people in your family are just as you described? friends, coworkers, neighbors, what have you? hopefully your mind isn't blown by the reality that they do exist, *a lot.* they're not an exception, they're part of the rule, and you'd know that if actually followed the biology.
so if they can be women without doing the things you seem to think are a requirement, why not trans women? why not trans men be men? there are certainly cis men amongst you in the faith who have serious, legitimate medical conditions preventing you from successfully creating a child, and yet I don't see very many if not *any* of you in the TH-cam comments saying you're a woman, hey?
I gotta say, it's almost as if there is more to the human experience than the physical world, like we could abstract upon the concepts we already know, constructing a new gender of identity at a social level. y'know, something like the abstract concept of gender identity and its use as a social construct. wait a minute, that's that thing them blue-haired sinners are always saying! all the time! over and over! as if they mean it and aren't just making noise to make noise! what a wild concept!

@@Fang1241 anatomically, not genetically. When male children in the womb develop gonads, they begin producing testosterone which then leads the body to follow a development pattern that culminates in male anatomy. This normal pattern of development becomes obstructed when a person has a defective gene for the androgen receptor. This is androgen insensitivity syndrome. In order for testosterone to cause anatomical changes within the body it has to bind to this receptor which exists in cells. When this receptor is not made properly, testosterone can no longer get ‘glued’ onto it, thus causing the person to develop female traits.
However, they are still male fundamentally. They can neither menstruate nor produce children. This is because how much ever you modify your external appearances you can’t change the thing you are genetically

    • @adityaranjit9564
      @adityaranjit9564 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@summerlovinxx you’ve misunderstood my argument. The definition for female is as follows
A female is a member of the human species who by virtue of her genetic nature has the predisposition or tendency to produce gametes of a certain kind (ova). Now note very carefully the use of the word ‘predisposition’. I’m not suggesting that women who stop ovulating aren’t women. Women remain women even if they have lost the ability to produce gametes because they still have XX chromosomes. This is why I brought up the example of an oak tree. Even if we were to prevent the germination of an oak seed by burning off its exterior, it does not change the kind of thing it is genetically.
All the external sexual characteristics that women have directly ‘flow’ from the fact they have an XX chromosome. So even if one of those external characteristics were to be lost, it doesn’t change the essential nature of a woman. Thus, a woman does not cease to be a woman if she gets a mastectomy or a hysterectomy.
Trans women cannot be women because they are not the same thing genetically. A trans person is dependent on the use of hormones for their biological characteristics.
Check out Vaush vs Tomas Bogardus on Modern Day Debate. It’s really informative on this very subject.
