  • In the summer of 2012 we went backpacking through Thailand and Cambodia for six weeks. First we traveled from Bangkok to the south of Thailand to see the islands, do a jungle trekking at Khao Sok National Park and to experience the half moon party. After that our journey continued to Cambodia. There we saw Angkor, the killingfields and Koh Rong.
Most people have never heard of Koh Rong but I suggest that you Google it and you go out there to see it for yourself! ;)
The last weeks we spend in the north of Thailand in Chiang Mai and Pai. We especially loved the time we had in Pai. Pai still has that real authentic South East Asia atmosphere! It's really great to just rent a moped, drive through the hills and see the rice paddies while the Thai kids wave at you and scream: Helloooo!
    Go travel Thailand and Cambodia!
Thank you for watching my video and don't forget to like and comment it!;)

Really Great Video ...i just came back from southeast asia (thailand and cambodia like you) i really miss it and really wanna go back ...Was such a great time and the hardest thing in backpacking is the end of the travelling when you have to go back
At 2:25 is this Koh rong in cambodia, because it looks similar to this island, and i think i know the bull at 2:25 :D

Great video, love the editing. Could I ask:
    1. What editing software do you use?
    2. When filming this, did you use any camera accessories or was this filmed free hand?
Thank you, keep up the good work!

Hi James, I used Imovie for the editing and only the very basics. Also this was filmed free hand :)

    Hello,
I was wondering if you felt really safe in Cambodia? I was researching it because me and my friend (both woman) are going and all these negative things kept popping up. Like murders and being robbed at knife/gun point and it being lawless. I know that these can happen anywhere but I guess I would be more nervous with it happening in another part of the world. How did you feel there?
    Thanks,
    Sareena

Hi Sareena. Don't worry! Seriously, Cambodia is one of the most safe countries to travel. People get murdered everywhere if you google 'safety + country name'. Most unsafe places in Cambodia are Phnom Penh and Sihanoekville. Daytime you will have no problems but just don't go wandering around at night. Really just go and forget about it. I will go back there in 47 day^^
