    Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops shared the same habitat for several million years. It'd be ridiculous to think Triceratops wasn't on T-Rex's menu.

      I agree. It's just the lack of physical evidence that holds the idea back unfortunately.

      Plus this rexi is smaller than the tri which could very well be how both fell together. Ohhhh what this earth has seen. We are so small in her time-line🥹

      @@rockmemama86 maybe an adult 'trike' saw an underaged Rex and decided to kill it while it was still small? I mean Cape Buffalo will try to kill any predators they catch 'alone' or undersized or both--
      Or the adult Trike was trapped in something (quicksand,mud, tar etc) and couldn't free itself and the young Rex tried to cop any easy mean and got it's face kicked in and they BOTH end up stuck and dying?

    I went to the NC science museum as as of typing this comment, they are painstakingly still extracting the skeletons. The is a part of the museum where you have panoramic window walls that allow you to watch the scientists at work. And there on a white tray cart, was the skull of a triceratops staring right at me. Millions of years of history staring right back at me in the face. Oh the stories this beautiful specimen could tell, the things it could have seen. Right there, right in front of me. The museum is a beautiful place to learn and truly understand the history of science and the milestone it has brought. I highly recommend that you visit. 😊

  • @barrybarlowe5640

    There are three dueling dinosaurs that I'm aware of. The velocirapter/ protoceratops from Mongolia, this one from America, and the third is a duel between a dinosaur and an early mammal! I'm constantly amazed these happened at all! They would have to die, mid battle, drop, and be covered up almost immediately!! In the Mongolia one, they speculate a collapsed sand dune. I haven't heard speculation on the other two.

    • @danx4813
      @danx4813 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They speculate a vulcanic eruption (buried in vulcanic mudflow) in the mammal vs dinosaur one found in China (like Roman Pompeii).

    @barrybarlowe5640 ปีที่แล้ว

    From another fairly complete specimen of Nanotyranus, the fossil had more teeth and the fore arms were MUCH larger proportionately than a T-Rex's. In fact, the arm bones of a 20 ft specimen are larger than a 40ft T-Rex's fore limbs. As the one guy pointed out, bones grow larger over time. They don't shrink. If that one was a "Juvenile T-Rex" the adult would have been 60 - 70 feet long, IF the arms didn't grow any more. Not likely.

    Triceratops slashed and bleeding: spits out blood* what hands’ besides I didn’t hear no bell.
    Both Dino titans rushing towards each other and about to clash when the light from the comet fades the shot like in rocky three and u hear a bell Eye of the tiger plays in the background

    The giraffe height reference for the animals length is a horrible comparison. Comparisons should be as direct as possible. Like a bus, would make far more sense and you could compare all three dimensions...

  • @ut-of-here-cya
    @ut-of-here-cya 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes I believe a different type of a or possible off shoot of T-Rex.😁👁️🤔The skull shape differ's on top of head it could be flesh cartilage that makes the ood features & almost bird beak but not. Only shape like, up front on top not so much bottom jaw. But also top over bottom up fount more than back of jaw. So bottom up front less seen, till opening mouth. Couple of other things I could go on about 😏 this would be 3 times as long if I did.
    Thank you for the video 👍

  • @ana-cristinavargas2029
    @ana-cristinavargas2029 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe nanotyrannus did exist, because a juvenile T.rex would definitely never try to take on an adult triceratops, and if a full grown t.rex did kill this triceratops, then it would have crushed the bone while feasting, and the nanotyrannus didn’t have the bone crushing teeth. Maybe this nanotyrannus was only a member of a pack.

  • @carolynallisee2463
    @carolynallisee2463 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is something that', for once, has been carefully kept under the radar! The only dueling dinosaurs I knew of until today were the pair from Mongolia. It'll be interesting to see what they learn from these fossils... especially the carnivore. But the actual events surrounding the deaths are most intriguing. it'll be interesting to learn if the meat eater teeth found in the triceratops bones match those of the T rex, or if they come from another, larger individual. If this is so we could be witnessing the outcome of a dino tragedy. Adult teeth will mean that at least two predators had attacked the trike, and the smaller, younger one suffered a fatal head injury. We can't say for certain that Tyrannosaurs hunted in packs, but it does kind of look they might have hunted as a family, and this time it went horribly wrong for the youngster!
    What is also intriguing is that both skeletons are almost complete and perfectly preserved. Whatever happened that day, everyone lost out: the trike and the tyrannosaur who died, and anyone else who hoped for a meal, because it's clear that both bodies were buried in sediment, volcanic ash or sand before scavengers of any kind could get to work.

    Personally i find the find of the raptor v.s. protoceratops battle fossile more compelling. That one is really a clear shot in time of 2 dinosaurs in combat. As for this one does not clearly shows any fighting action at all. And to be honest, this almost looks like it's man-made.

    • @ericm425
      @ericm425 ปีที่แล้ว

      The raptor/protceratops were buried by sand mid combat. If this dueling dinosaur scene is real, both appear to have been killed by the combat but did not die locked in combat. They both kind of fell after the battle
