To make an accusation you don't need to be in the room, this is only when making a suggestion. You can make an accusation straight after making a suggestion on the same turn.
What happens if somebody makes a guess and you’re on their left and you have no card to show them that they guessed, does it just go to the next player to your left to show a card if they have one of the cards guessed?
Same for me I watched so many of clues explained vids when I bought the game.th-cam.com/video/TrQ4312-8w4/w-d-xo.html These people sum it up very good and explain the rules well. Also there very wholesome check it out of u don’t get the rules yet.
I played Cluedo on Christmas Day with my family. As I played it, I felt almost as if I was playing HeroQuest, another tabletop board game in which you explore rooms.
I still don't understand -- what's the difference between the "guess" and the "accusation" other than you lose the game if you accuse wrongly but don't lose the game if you guess wrongly? Also, what's the point of the weapon pieces?
When they say "guess," they meant "suggestion," where you suggest which three cards you think are in the envelope, others prove you wrong by showing them one of your cards that was in your suggestion, and marking off one thing off the possibilities. Oh, and the weapon tokens are just... well...tokens that you toss from room to room as you make suggestions.
The guess is when you go in a room pick a person and a weapon. Near the end of the game if you think you know who the is you can make and accusation. The accusation is the three cards in the envelope
If the player to your left, does not have a card you guessed, you move on to the player to their left. This repeats until you have either been shown a card or have no more players to ask.
if you get an accusation wrong you lose the game. Also upon making an accusation you get no info from the rest of the players, you straight open the envelope.
@@ACaffeineAddict If you make a guess, you don't win or lose anything. If you make an accusation and it's correct(the cards you accused are inside the envelope), you win.
Can the left player lie that he dont have the suggested card? I mean lying inorder to make the suggesting guy think that the suggested card is present in the envelope (i bought this game today and imma learning the rules)

The game is flawed with 2 people because if you happen to quess the right answer and none of you have the cards then its obviously the answer in the deck
I have played this with friends and they all got it but not me. I swear i felt like i'm retarded. It just doesn't seem logical to me and it doesn't make sense. And i'm really trying. All i saw is. We take cards and blame each other and note things down. I don't even know how to understand this. Even though most people consider me as smart and would expect me to know how to play this game. But i don't. 😢 I just hope for the best that we don't play this in the future anymore
1:32 I have not played a single version of Clue where the players are allowed to move diagonally.
Players can’t move diagonally unless they’re in a room with a secret passage. Does this answer your question?
@@Alicia-pl7lr I actually knew that already, but thanks, I guess.
Same i though you were supposed to move left right down or up

I love to play cluedo with my friends and family members

Wait but how do we know if we’re the murderer ourselves??
You don't, unless you just so happen to have a card of yourself. Otherwise, you could suggest that you, yourself, is the murderer.
You can actually suggest or make an accusation of yourself

I just don’t understand what you make guess off of? How would you know?
So you guess out of what is missing, since everyone has the cards distribued amongst the players except for the 3 that are in the secret file.
