Albert Heijn is supposed to be for people with a bigger wallet. But when I go to Aldi or Lidl I'll get better service. More open cash registers etc etc
Oh nice! Well there will always be Lays Paprika around in every Albert Heijn or Jumbo. Such as the good old Croky paprika or natural chips we treated our classmates with on our birthdays ;-) So you're a Dutchie in the USA? Nice!
Oh wow! Lays MAX: Maximum taste and maximum cracking. Lay's max original is crispy baked potato chips with a pinch of salt for flavor. The ribbed chips are thicker, firmer and crispier than normal natural chips and therefore provide a unique taste experience.
Wallmart failed in europe as no european people like big companies selling all types of junk, We prefer professional smaller stores with higher quality products and high knowledge of the products. Thus only smaller chains can work. AH is considered a big chain but it is only in NL. Its expensive too, not the greatest of stores not cheap either. Would say average stores with above average prices. Boni, Jumbo, Dirk, Vomar would be dutch supers with decent prices. Aldi and Lidl are the german stores with often the lower prices and tad bit lower quality food but good for the price.

Thats my favorite chip when i was there 2018 the lays paprika..i missed being in leiden i hope one day i can still go back in my birthplace.
