    Dearest Fi, i love all the positive comments here and that you try something new to support the challenges with solo-time. Surprising for me was the following: i got a bit stressed with you talking at breakfast and having the spoon with food infront of you for the talking bit. I also felt a bit of your tension/nervousness or might have sensed something different … then i thought: oh dear the food gets cold? And many more sensations and thoughts. I simply got stressed ;-) This has more to do with me, than with your lovely documentation of dining, but i wanted to share it. ❤

    Compared to some older videos your facial expression looks so different now while you’re eating. You’ve made so much progress, I am very happy for you!!!
    Fav toast combo is cream cheese, avocado, tomato slices, seasoned salt and chia/hemp seeds.

    Consistency is huge. It’s like a muscle that requires consistent work to strengthen. The more you work at it, the stronger the behavior gets.

    Hi Ffi. I really love this new series idea! I found it very comforting and can’t wait for episode two of come dine with Ffi.
    Tbh I don’t think you could ever talk too much or make a video that’s too long. I could watch you all day! I love your company even if it’s virtual. It makes me feel less alone. I know longer videos are probably more work for you, but I actually really enjoyed the longer video! And I really enjoy hearing you talk and answer questions. It felt like kind of a “behind the scenes” video.
    I am so excited you tried the peanut butter tree! I love peanut butter and Reeses are my favorite candy! I know nut flavors are not usually what you prefer, but I am so proud of you for trying it and for finishing it even if it wasn’t great. That is a seemingly little yet an important step in recovery. Thank you for showing us that it’s good to try new things and that food doesn’t have to be perfect to eat it.

    love this new little set up! i was actually alone for a week (parents went on vacation) and so could have used seeing this last week, but that’s okay! it’s nice to know i wasn’t the only one doing the recovery thing at home, solo time, for a bit! proud of you for finding a way to stay accountable, and i’ll definitely watch these videos next time i’m having some food by myself! ♥️

    Hey love! Thank you for starting this series. I look forward to Sunday’s and your vlog. Don’t worry about the length of them, I know I don’t mind long ones. It’s like seeing a friend every Sunday. I become a hermit (social anxiety suxs) in the winter with the cold weather so it’s nice seeing a friendly face and to hear how ur week went.
    It’s funny to see that the spring flowers are already popping up when we’re in -43°c weather. 😂 we won’t see flower for at least another 2 mnths.

    This was so lovely, just like having a chat with someone while you eat.
    Toast toppings: definitely banana. Other toppings are mashed banana with grated cheddar on top, then grilled. Or marmite (very much a crowd splitter though) with honey. Sounds weird but it's lovely.
    I hate whole or chopped nuts too, but some nut butters are okay.
    I love seeing your smiling face now, you look so much happier than a year or 18 months ago. And you have a very likeable personality :) xx

    Hi Fi! What is the best way to reduce anxiety prior to eating a meal? Its my worst struggle! I panic and it leads to grazing, and then Im fearful of "overeating". Wish i could break this cycle. Thanks Fi for sharing and posting your videos. i always look forward to them!!! Love,Loren🥰

    Hi Fi,Thank you for doing these videos,I follow you on Instagram...I'm the 55 yr. old lady who has chatted with you back & forth through DM on there who is struggling with stomach issues after coming off of a medication & I'm still struggling & scared thinking "what if my stomach doesn't heal?" But I'm trying not to give up,I joined you with my afternoon meal of soup (still eating as I take it slow,trying to give my stomach time to process the food & hopefully digest it properly. ) I eat my 2 meals & 2 desserts (what little I'm consuming in my bedroom) and now I can eat with you.

    Yeah, there is a difference. I also like the sachet oats as well but cost wise I kind of stick to the oats you cook on the stove 🤷‍♀but yeah if I can sometimes I just take the sachets to work with me or the porridge that you mix with milk, yogurt or water.

    Out of general curiosity (because I know it's a thing for autistic people) do you always use teaspoons when a spoon is needed? I know for some people it's a sensory thing, but it can just be a preference thing. And for me, my favourite chocolate is any white chocolate, but milkybar would probably be the top pick. And for spreads, either biscoff (crunchy is preferred) or normal chocolate spread.
