The guy has a completely different "mindset" than any fighter in the world. He does not mind bringing the guy to his camp, improve the game of the guy, talk about what really works, because in the end, he knows that he will learn a lot from him too and improve his game.
This is almost non-existent in the MMA fighting. POATAN, you are living proof that 'God exalts the humble and slays the proud.' You're a champion and I'm not talking about belts, my brother.

It's really fascinating, Ariel spent 55 minutes and 40 seconds trying to get Alex to talk shit about anybody, past or future opponents, he failed miserably, Alex didn't take the bait, and at the end, while litteraly wrapping up the show after announcing Alex's next fight, he can't help but add "and YOU asked for him, he didn't ask for you, YOU asked for him", with the energy and hand gestures that go with it. The guy was like "I gotta try to get him one more time, this is my last shot", and finally Alex talked a little bit of shit lol. The show was over, he talked about Ankalev 40 minutes ago, but Ariel feeds off people attacking people after he instigated it, why are they like that tho?

Between this and the Jeremy Stevens time, hands down best show for impact in a good while. Not saying the show isn’t good always but greatness prevailed. Lots of emotions in the strength of the rightful kings of what they do, bravo. Great interviews Ariel.

To many gossip questions sometimes , why not find out more about how he feels living in cold American , if he has any idea or projects he supports or likes in Brasil , etc .. gossip stuff is the same and a pedestrian level of reporting...

Karate combat is actually legit fun to watch, still in its early days and finding its way and sometimes the fighter quality is not the best but the premise of the ruleset is great and on youtube so it's got a lot going for it. Wish the commentary was a bit more animated, at times Bas and GSP lack a bit of charisma. That's the commentary teams job to make bad fights entertaining and informative, they get quiet a lot.
