- King Charles III returned to public duties on Tuesday, visiting a cancer treatment charity and beginning his carefully managed comeback after the monarch’s own cancer diagnosis sidelined him for three months. King Charles never knew his most important work in his latest years would be cancer awareness.
Yes. Before he got cancer, nobody had ever heard of it.
@@FordnanUntil you’ve been been through cancer yourself, your awareness is objective and anecdotal. Once you’ve personally experienced it, your perspective becomes subjective and it opens up a whole new world. King Charles would be able to identify with those patients with genuine empathy and they with him. they are on the same journey.
@@suej9329 Those patients are aware they have cancer. How does the fact of his having cancer have anything to do with cancer awareness?
As for his supposed sympathy, has he had to spend every morning trying to book an appointment with a GP? Has he had to wait for an appointment, wait for a diagnosis, had his documents lost, had his treatment postponed, had to deal with loss of income and possible loss of the roof over his family's head? Of course not. That oaf advocated homeopathy for the plebs when we have cancer. He spent decades lobbying for it. So let's drop this pretense that he has any interests at heart other than his own here. He wouldn't even be there if the press didn't show up.

Sacrifice is everything to keep the Monarchy alive! I for one love the existence of the royal family! My prayers go out to all! I would love to see Princess Catherine out and about, she is so much younger than the king and battling the same horrible disease.
