Metal Gear Friday with Mandy is a great time.
The spy twist is my favorite part of this story and I love that you're 1000% in for it!
This is like a goddamn cable TV show where I have to wait a week to see what happens next! I can't take the anticipation, it's killing me!! Ugghh 😂😭

20:24 played this game for the first time 25 years ago and never noticed there was an elevator. I thought it was strange they all had to cross the lava pit to cross the room but half the rooms in this game are OSHA nightmare.
4:10 if I remember right, certain trucks you hide in while using a specific cardboard box, like the one you found soon after being in the truck, let's you "fast-travel" to specific areas. You're transported like cargo around the map lol.
This one game dictated how I played other games when given an option to sneak and be tactical. Glad to see you're back at it Mandy.
Mandy Gear Solid Fridays continues with what I am sure is going to be chockfull of twists and turns! This is where the MGS experience really takes off.
I *really* enjoyed this section! The final act of the game is shaping up to be so good and exciting!

The rations you can unfreeze them in that hot room or have them equipped. Might take several minutes for it to heat

I know you're trying to warm the rations back up, but falling in the liquid metal or lava or whatever it is, isn't the way to do it. I mean it will work, as you said, but since Snake gets cooked too...

Not sure how you could go through so much of the game and not know how to choke enemies out. Actually it seems like you're still not used to the controls at all at this point. I still recommend taking a break and doing VR missions, because if you plan on playing MGS2, it's going to be really difficult for you at this rate.
I think she's been really resourceful and creative in using what she knows to progress through the game. Not all of us figured out all of the controls right away. The good thing is that the MGS game designs are generally forgiving enough to support different playstyles and not doing everything the same way as every other player.
@@TheMoshPit26 like I said, I’ve never seen anyone go through the whole game without being able to choke out enemies. The gameplay elements missed so far would drastically decrease the enjoyment of the game. Glad she is still enjoying it but I’m willing to bet she would enjoy it far more with a better understanding of the mechanics.
