Very nice! I currently have a 46.5m long track set up on a 4 x 9m footprint in my garage, with extra lanes it's all up about 60m, also using ARC Pro. As you say, it's so much fun just to get away from reality for a bit and run some laps with various cars, amazing how quickly the time flies though!
@@ScalextricInMyGarage1 It's nowhere near as well set up as yours! Mind you I only get it out once or twice a year, but I have a lot more room now in my new house so it might stay up for a few months now. I'm curious, what do you use to maintain your track? I clean mine with Inox when I set up up, then periodically whilst using, then again before I pack it up, but I've had most of it for nearly 10 years now and time takes it's toll... I'll see if I can pop a video up on YT of my current track and let you know....
Tried many different things to clean my track but found Autosol polish seems to do the trick after watching this:th-cam.com/video/Rsaqgj3qD_k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EPKRywyzbmbGMEXb
I hear you about going in the garage and just getting away from everything and working on your track. I like to do the same with my basement Scalextric track. I love your track layout.
Great track, Im curious to know does your track not get damp in your garage, I have a double garage that is detached from the house, thinking of building a track in there but worried about it. I would seal up as much as I can. But not sure if it's a good idea.
Thanks. My garage is detached as well, do cover the whole layout in old bed sheets when not in use and try not to use it if the temperature is less than 10 deg.

Thanks for your comment and would be interested to see how your layout is set up?

Upload a video, it's a lot easier than designing and building a 46.5mtr Scalextric Track.

Nice layout! (but it's pronounced 'ScaleXtriC)
What's the footprint size? Looks fun - looking to make something similar ( L shaped but not as big)
Hello, L shape layout 3m x 2, 1.8m x 2 & 1.2m x 2
Did you use Carrera minifigures on the Scalextric grandstand? No offense, but just wondering and maybe gonna try myself.
Yes as only 1:32 figures available.
Hello, where do you have the support for the bridge thanks
Hello, there are 3 for each bridge 2 at each end and the middle ones are between the 2 lower tracks, but not easy to see.
