I love this cutout demonstration. Very pleasant to look at. I heard in another video that with this type of differential, when one wheel has very good traction and the other has none (say it's in the air or on ice), the latter will spin out and the one with good traction will receive no torque, so the car won't move. The part where you demonstrate how the pinion gear works with the pen made me understand that situation a lot better.

HI sir... I am from India.. I watched your video and i am trusting of my complaint will be resolved... i have XUV 500 2018 model... while turning right and left side the back rear wheel gets strucked no movement... but while running straight it is moving... pls guide me to resolve the issue

Have you checked to see if there is some differential locking problem that is preventing speed variation!!?
