I just want to say that you do a terrific job at teaching your process because so many nail techs in a lot of them are like the ones that are famous now on TH-cam and Instagram they pretty much just bad mouth Miasecret because they don't know how to use it properly and if you do exactly what you did and hold your beat on your brush for a few seconds before you place it on the nail it allows it to set up enough so it's not running everywhere and it's actually really good acrylic! I have been using Mia secret for years now and I absolutely love it including their ultrabond I never hardly ever have any lifting whatsoever on my nails and I always use their ultrabond with a thin layer clear if I'm going to be doing colored acrylic if not that clear sticks to my nail plate very very well!!! I love watching you apply acrylic 🥺 it looks so easy, I hope to get as good as you one day. I think my main problems are liquid to powder ratio and waiting for the bead to solidify, I always think it's going to dry up on me lol.
Something else that I found works really good when using me a secret is if you put your monomer down on your nail tip just like brushed it down on your nail tip before you apply the clear it makes it moved down the nail really really smoothly! 🥰

I've just been topcoating with a thin layer of gloss on my art curing it then I use the matte topcoat cuz it was smearing my colors bad before doing that ,but if I tried wiping instead would it be with alcohol?
I will usually put I glossy coat 1st then matte & it helps prevent any splotches. I have worked with some matte top coats that dont splotch but just to be on the safe side from now on I use the gloss top coat 1st cause it really sucks when all you hard work gets ruined.
Often what happens from past experiences Is that when the top coat makes the design smear on the nail it’s because you maybe didn’t put it in the lamp long enough, makes like gel air bubbles in the nail till they pop 🖤love the application 😍
I actually used Glam and glits back2basics monomer I get it for $20 for a 16-oz and it works really good with Mia Secret and Young Nails for that matter!!
Instead of having to worry about time; I think its best to know before hand what design your client wants. That way you can practice, and decide whether or not you'll be able to come through. No sense wasting time trying to get it done, when you know you can't. Better to be honest with yourself, and your client. It will be less stressful for the both of you!
its you leaving your application in real time, on both hands and the video Is only 23 min long then there's me... application and design on 4 practice fingers SPED UP and I could only get my video down to 28 min 😭😭😂😂😂 ima just live through you sis and keep on practicing lmao

What you can do is put a tin layer of regular gel top coat then use the matte on top of that,I just buff it lightly then apply the matte.
