How to create a new world using the landmass wizard and the polygonal lasso tool in Wonderdraft

- The landmass wizard in Wonderdraft is a great tool to kickstart your new map.
In this video you can see how to create a generated, but still custom world while combining the landmass wizard with the polygonal lasso tool.
For this to work, I use two separate Wonderdraft files. For easy recognition I use the paper theme for the world I'm making and the imagination theme as a temporary 'creator file'. You can see me going back and forth between the 2 files in order to add new continents to my world.

Thanks! Almost all my maps start with the landmass wizard combined with the polygonal tool. You can take it several steps further than I did in this video and just make any kind of feature you want on your map. Want a peninsula? Landmass wizard, copy/paste. Want small island group? Landmass wizard, copy/paste. Want a north pole? Landmass wizard, copy/paste (x5).
Hello, Here 1:21 How did you make the square around the continent and be able to rotate the continent. Please Help
With the lasso tool. On the left of my screen at 1:21 you can see how to get there (1st to 'land' and then to the bottom option on the left). Once you made a selection, click somewhere on the screen and the selection will turn into a rectangular box. Going with the mouse somewhere on a side of that rectangle allows you to rotate the selection. Make sure that you're not working in an old Wonderdraft version in which this tool didn't exist yet.
@@Wonderdraft_Academy thanks for reply but it doesn't seem to work for me, after making the selection, i tried clicking on the selection and nothing happen, and clicking outside the selection, it deselects. I am using version 1.1.1 maybe that's why.
@@CATventurYes indeed, as I mentioned the functionality didn't exist in old version yet and 1.1.1 is a very old version. You can upgrade it for free.
