I never use foundation on its own, I always mix it with my moisturizer for a lighter coverage. I think my face would look way to shiny if I used oil instead :D

It would not have made any sense to use something darker because the woman she was applying foundation to had such pasty-looking skin. A shade darker would have seemed ridiculous. I think the lesson here is: Ladies, get some color to you and stop the trend of ghostly white flesh. That should have been the beauty hack.

NATURE. south American people are brown in all shades. naturally. people in Asia are darker too by nature. but ... do you know WHAT ? There are those, such as myself, who are Nordic. Scandinavian people, who's skin is NATUIRALLY super pale. white as snow. which this woman could easily look like her genes are as well. I often use a nude-coloured pen just outside my upper lip and then do an ombre lip look, it makes my lips look bigger but natural too:)
