Excellent video, I was disappointed to see that Litchi ignores the Fly app's ability to warn of incoming aircraft, but I am not sure I ever noticed that in the Maven app either? More videos in this Litchi series please 🙂You had me worried when you clicked RTH as I wondered whether that raise in altitude would make you more of a threat to the incoming aircraft.
Thank you. Now that you mention it, I am not sure I have seen aircraft warnings in Maven or not. I live close enough to an airport that I routinely get the warnings. I will have to look at Maven to see if it warnings. I am near a large military airfield. Any of the larger aircraft that pass over me are around 2,000’ to 3,000’ above ground level. The smaller, general aviation aircraft are usually no lower than 1,500’ AGL
Thank you for watching. While I am still learning Litchi, there are a few things I think Litchi does better, primarily the mission hub. On the whole, I still like Maven better and will continue to use it as my primary tool. I have found it useful to build a waypoint mission in the Litchi mission hub, transfer it to Maven and then do some tweaking in Maven.
Awesome! I'm glad there are 3rd party apps that can allow mission planning, since DJI has abandoned even the most basic waypoints in releasing the Fly App.
Cool video but the orbit function with Litchi always seems clunky and jerky. Its not smooth like DJI or other good drone company orbit functions. I like litchi for what it is especially for waypoint missions but after a while I stopped using Litchi for orbit because its jerkiness. If that doesn't bother a person then its great. Thanks for posting
3 feet is the default subject height. You can adjust the setting to any height, with the goal of framing the shot to what looks the best Thanks for watching.

Agreed. I feel like Maven’s orbit is more stable than Litchi. Maven’s orbit isn’t perfect but I think it is better than Litchi
