I never knew Pherrows was part of LVC? I have one of their shirts in white cotton. Same style as the flannel really, but so light. It's great for a hot summers day.
That Studio D'artisan is a beautiful shirt, may have to keep an eye out for something similar.

Great video as always, Fjorde. Quick question: is there anything you wouldn’t style with a pair of jeans and a type I, II or III jacket?

I would love to find an "Urban Flannel" shirt. Gauze flannel. Slub flannel. Super soft. Medium weight. Form fitting. Small spread collar. No pockets. Stealthy elegant plaids. Exactingly constructed and detailed. Does anyone know of anyone? I'm not a fan of western pockets on flannel shirts. Great for chopping down trees but not for the subway.

Dark Gravity, are you saying 'stolen valour' of a working man's clothes?
For a start, I see Japan honouring the fact those clothes had a style of there own. And, secondly Japan taking the time and making them better is something that should be lauded.
Better that than modern day tat.
Plus, most men who buy these clothes are working men, plus no one forces anyone to buy them.

I'm with you on this Blue--not to mention some of those brands that Dark mentions are not as 'American' as they appear these days--American materials manufactured in China or striaght outsourced. Granted others he mentions are still truely made in the USA. Carl Murawski talks about how he dislikes blue-collar guys that try to belittle people for wearing work wear--it's just clothes!
Further, these Japanese hertige brands are not cut well for the job site in many cases. They are cut to look good not for maximuim mobility and utility. Not many working guys throwing on their Iron Hearts to go roofing. The tue valor of the working man is how they embody the spirit of hard work and freedom; not complaining that people enjoy a style of clothing. Keep up the great videos fjorde, hope my sarcastic comment earlier was too overboard!

Pendleton, Carhartt, Filson, Woolrich are a few American Heritage Workwear companies known for making flannels but you only mentioned Levi's.
I've tried to watch but your channel just seems to be a hard flex of all the expensive Japanese products you have. I admit the quality coming out of Japan is second to none but the designs they're based on were not built to that level. They were built for the average working man. (Before some Jack wagon says I'm angry cuz I can't afford it I'm in the top 2% of wage earners and it's blue collar money. It's about principle, which is sorely lacking in today's world.) Stolen Valor, which Cee R Dee refers to frequently, is representing what you're not. You don't even pay respect to where the designs came from or who they were designed for.
Don't worry. This is the only comment you'll ever recieve from me. Yes, I know it helps your algorithm but hopefully it also helps your direction. God Bless

@@shootjase I really don't care what people wear. I do get annoyed, and it's really my problem, when people insinuate that only the super expensive is good enough. I Love Iron Heart, I may would love the others but they don't fit, and they are the best currently. I am a maintenance man in a steel mill currently. I've been an Iron Worker, a diesel mechanic and in the military. I've never seen any of the brands he mentioned as "the best" on a job site, nor have anyone I've met heard of them. I have seen the brands I mentioned and their vintage garments are highly coveted. Makes you question which is best and which is fashion.
