This was the best experience of my season.. it was cool being in the mix of that and being there with you bro!
Good seeing you out there too man. This was actually my first time filming FAMU's Death March from the field. Footage wise this is one of those essential Black College Band material you have to film.
Back in 92 I used to watch them practice Slow One on The Patch (IYKYK) and was in awe!!!

I grew up with the "100" as my Pops was in the band in the mid-late 60's.
No white-washing this performance by the DM's - very undisciplined - Especially being the end of the season.
The DM's set the tone for the entire band.
Hopefully a better product this 2019 season.

Band students aren't built the same way anymore.
In my days we had real short breaks and we ate only one salad meal and wash it down with water amd endure pain threw pit the field, Band members these days be eating too junk food and taking too many long breaks that's why bands are sloppy today

I wasn’t embarrassed at all actually proud because I know what the band is going through. Not playing myself one bit you sound like these cats that’s never done what we do and run lip. If you have an issue come back and help or reach out through the proper channels versus going against your own. That’s why I said you couldn’t of have come through the 💯
ok so question was the Dm on point or not? its simple...forget your feelings everyone felt the same way It wasn't a good look. The band and sound was great. You triggered cause the DM shamming at the classic.
I’m done , my point is if it was in your heart and you actually “came through “ you would know this is not the platform to speak on. Were you a DM, section leader wtfru? You remind me of an upper c that was shytty as hell trying to be raw. If you have an issue to fix bring it home because majority of the comments I heard were good.

What I’m saying is TH-cam is not the platform to criticize your own. We have enough of that to deal with. The way “we” were taught was to fix issues at “home” not in front of company.
I wish u had not come for the brother like that, DMs were once our heartbeat, DEATH MARCH our signature, DMs were not WILLIAM FOSTER QUALITY, if someone else had spoken, u would not have taken it so personally, but neither would u have taken it seriously!!

I believe the drum major on the far left should have been the only because he was the only one with the best discipline and balance

This March doesn't look intimidating in the least
Its not meant to be intimidating..its a March to honor tradition of like 100 yrs....
And the death March is to show precision, discipline and bearing

Dam , y’all hard on the team,,,,, of course if u got a close view of the band w/ optics we have now , u will c minor notes (Choreographically speaking),, 🧐shucks, I still ate my popcorn UP just with that INTRO, and I marched @ an HBCU long b 4 most of ya talking this crap,, and FAMU D.M.s wiggled a lil bit holding that 90 degree w/ toes pointed, but that don’t take away the majestic pageantry of intro performance that Dr. C. Foster left us,, it’s our job to build on that,, everybody got criticism to say , in and unkind way to me sometimes,,,,, and we can’t pick our FAT legs up now like that!!!!!!!✌🏿🤬🎷🙏🏾🤣
