  • Eleven Atlanta teachers stood stunned when the verdict came down that could put them in prison for two decades. According to investigators, the teachers gave students answers and even changed answers on tests after they had been submitted. Vinita Nair reports.

    That's why these state tests and the pressure they bring is wrong for everybody involved.. there r some smart kids who cant perform well on standardized tests..and that test should not dictate everything.

    My grades were always high. The end of term test resulted in 98%. The principal mocked, "that's a very intelligent child." The very next month, I was almost failed. There was a D on my paper. One year later, at another institution and without any tuition, I was given straight A's, a distinction. I hope the madams responsible can explain this. Are they selling grades to rich kids and suffocating us poor Afro folks? Madams, I challenge you. CXC May/June 2000 Trinidad and Tobago results at a high prestigious school (which I entered only through merit) were a complete sell out!

    You know what don't make this a black or white thing silly. They did a bad thing, no matter what color they are! Would be saying if your kid was in that school ?

      Racketeering charges isn't that reserved for mob boss's? No wonder the US prison system is over crowded.
