Acharya tradition is not there except few communities. Even for smarthas its only few acharyas. Its only vaishnavites who have a lively continuing acharya parampara. That being the case how do learn without books?

You have to read the information from someone or the other . Go to Acharyas where there is tradition and no to the books of idiots who speak against it or don’t have it . Not having a acharya lineage is a big problem. This is a red flag for any tradition . Your observation of non Vaishnavas not having acharya tradition is flawed . I live in Kanchipuram , which is the seat of one the greatest non broken acharya tradition of the nation.
