She has now won 11 matches in a row but yeah. she's gone next round - just because you say so? People who know nothing about tennis should STFU
"Biggest drama queen ever" is next level mental projection from Kerber. Kerber herself was creating drama during the whole match. First she seemed to be injured, then at 3:4 in the first set (when Andreescu was taking the medical timeout) she didn´t even respond to her coach who was trying to.... well coach her... because she... well called him for coaching. She was absolutely uncoachable at that moment and just acting like a stubborn child and also already pretending to give up while even being borderline antagonistic towards him. Not an easy situation for her Coach Rainer Schüttler. I would´ve been pissed at her piss poor attitude. This is professional tennis and not some local 500 dollar bullshit tournament. You have to be able to at least somewhat control your emotions. Especially during a break when talking to your coach and the whole Tennis world is listening. Then in the second set she behaved really strange, played almost like she was mocking Andreescu´s playing style at 2 or 3 occasions, meanwhile pretending to be injured more and more and at one point she even told Schüttler or someone else in her box to "go away" ("geh weg!" in German) several times. Andreescu´s clever playing style is getting to her and her anger then makes her increasingly irrational to the point where she even disrespects her own coach. Then suddenly Andreescu made a few mistakes and surprisingly Kerber was able to run again for the rest of the second set. I´m German and should root for Kerber but in all honesty she´s salty as fuck and has a strangely unprofessional attitude. Especially towards her coach.
@@celestium77 That´s of course a pretty wild accusation/prejudice against Germans and you know it´s bullshit but yes Kerber is quite bitchy. Also in Indian Wells I noticed that poor attitude towards her coach and also the drama in general. A 31 year old 3 time Grand Slam winner who earned almost 30 million dollar feels the need to put down an 18 year old complete newcomer who´s just making her first moves on the tour and seems to have a superior brain capacity regarding women´s tennis tactics otherwise probably only matched by Su-Wei Hsieh.

I am romanian and I cheer for Bianca in every match against every romanian opponent, because she is the best romanian tennis player ever at her age and I love her character. She has the chance to grow up in Canada and avoid the romanian tennis federation. She is a wonderful teenager!
Nah, I watched this live. Andreescu was taking unecessary medical timeout when kerber was gaining momentum. She’s very talented but she is a big drama queen

She says 'Biggest drama queen ever' at the shaking hands What a sore loser. Can't handle the loss and picks up on a 18 year old. What a bad character. Will never see her with the same eyes again after this. I didn't see the match, I guess she's complaining on the medical timeout and losing the rhythm but still... it's a 18 year old. And players do this a lot. Mertens did it to in Doha and beat Halep. Halep accepted the loss. That's class. If anything Sharapova is the biggest drama queen of all or Wozniaki or whatever. And the uglier side of this is that I think she also tried to affect her for the rest of the tournament by saying this. Taking profit that she is just a kid. VERY ugly. From now on, cheering for all Kerber's opponents. What Williams did in the last US Open was also very ugly. She is a sore loser too. But at least she focuses her frustration on other stuf. Umpires, sexism bla bla bla. At least she has the strength to congratulate the opponent when she is better. Is the basic rule of sportsmanship. Kerber doesn't have it. Shitty character...
S. Williams won the major final 23 times and I would understand her to get a bit sore but she still nice to her opponents, this Kerber won the major final just 3 times and acct like a hero, typical German, good for you Bianca last game you really nail her to the wall.

Gee, Kerber was classless, but it’s not the first time she gives poor handshakes. Kerber had nothing to be rude with young tennis players. Remember how nice she was with Andreescu at Indian Wells, with Leylah Fernandez at US Open, Kontaveit at Qatar 2021... The point is Andreescu who tried to disturb the match by medical time outs. You guys didn't watch the full match, just saw the highlights and criticized Angie
This is the coldest handshake and comment from a 3 grand slams champion!!! She should have congratulated a young rising star like Bianca instead of negative gesture and attitude!!! Go Bianca Go!
im really excited to watch andreescu vs hsieh in the future.. both are amazingly progressive this recent years. One with the magically outstanding variety of shots(hsieh) and another one that likes to play high ball to the baseline(andressscu) so i will know which patern is more sustainable.. 🤔
Kerber.. you may be a fighter on court but your behaviour will never make you a player everyone respects. Learn something from men's tennis. Roger, Rafa, Novak.. all are so humble in defeat and greet their opponents so warmly. That's why they are what they are.
It's not a bubble surrounding only men's tennis. In women's tennis, even the best players do throw tantrums sometimes and shake the opponent's hands in a ungrateful manner. But if you watch the Big 4, they'll never do that.
What a sour grapes shake hands from Kerber, what’s out top ten, Andreescu is NO FEAR for your ranking, and besides she can beat you all, she proves that at Indian Wells. She got the weapon that the top ten doesn’t have....her young and capable age.
Slow your roll man. She hasn't done anything at the slams. She's playing great now, but the tour is long and arduous. Just let her keep playing and let her play speak for itself. Yes she does have youth on her side, but she still can explode emotionally on the court because of her inexperience.
WarrEn On the highlights, I clearly heard Angelique Kerber clearly said "drama queen" before she halfheartedly extended her hand for the customary handshake.
Bianca, if she keeps her head, will be Naomi's nightmare for years to come. At least, on hard and slow surfaces. Indian Wells was proof that an indomitable will fortifies depth of talent. She just needs to improve her stamina to match her all-round strengths. I'm so impressed that her game does not leave her fans worried about endless unforced errors. Welcome to the big time, Bianca. 👏👏👏👍🌹

I really really admired and respected Kerber not just for her game but for her demeanour on and off court, that just changed today. Andreescu will undoubtedly prove to be the biggest female tennis player ever in the next 10 years.
Kerber had a lot of trouble with her nerves early in her career. Then, over time, she learned to look less crazy. But still, when she feels hurt again, it pops up. Tennis is a very cruel sport you know...
Kerber cheated when playing Hantuchova in France several years back. Hantuchova was all class, whereas Kerber displayed very bad sportsmanship. Kerber has always been the same. I used to admire her, but not now. The incident is on TH-cam.
Raymond Hall I only started following her since her match with Monica Puig in Rio 2016 if I’m not wrong, and I’ve found her to be mostly focused on her own thing but this was a revelation, thanks.
Kerber losses two times in a week to this young and super Andreescu, I don't see any one else stoping Andreescu from winning this Miami. Good luck champion
Stop, There are several who could defeat her. She is not going undefeated for the entire season, so just stop. Revel in her streak she is on right now. Typical "bandwagoneer" fan.
The cold handshake and comment Kerber can't be because of the medical time because Bianca didn't go over any of the times plus she took her first timeout when she was clearly ahead. It has to be something else.
I personally think the comments made by Kerber are great for the game. It just makes future matches between these two so much more interesting. I will now definitely be looking to watch these two play each other next time, whereas I probably wouldn’t have bothered before...
Andreescu has to be running on fumes by now, yet she just keep on keeping on! Every shot from Andreescu says, loud and clear, 'I WANT TO WIN THIS POINT. GAME. SET. MATCH.' #Heart #Fight #Determination
kerbers game is so weird . she strives on fast paced flat balls, thats why she took on pova and serena in the past. but throw in a moon ball here and there n shes clueless. which is exactly what andreescu did here. so weird
Yeah I agree and at the Australian open when she lost to Danielle Collins Collins was making deep returns up the middle of the court which forced Kerber to do a weak crouching shot reply then Danielle would hit a winner afterwards, and now like you said she has no idea what to do with the moon ball shots Bianca was hitting. I guess I would’ve thought Kerber would have those kinds of shots figured out by now since she is 31 and has 3 grand slams and a ton of experience
Specifically it's the moon ball to the back hand. Andreescu figured it out back in Indian Wells that not just Kerber but probably 90% of the entire WTA has no idea what to do with this shot. Every girl in the last 20 years grew up and went through the ranks hitting flat baseline forehands and that's all they know how to do. It got them this far, but it shows how one dimensional women's tennis has become when they suddenly meet someone who can completely mess them up with junk pitches.
Wow, I know it must be hard to lose to the same player twice in less than a week, but Kerber should have more respect for her opponents. Well done Bianca👏🏻👏🏻
Serena after losing her 4th consecutive slam final, shook hands with Bianca congratulating her and showing her how proud she was. Kerber calls Biance the biggest drama queen and is rude once again in a hand shake. Yet Serena is the one called arrogant and rude
I knew last week kiss was fake, that nasty handshake from Kerber was disrespectful, but Bianca won t mind because she knows how to beat her again and again
Es muy positivo que el jugador no sienta ningún temor al enfrentar a jugadores con experiencia, deben jugar como lo harían siempre y al contrario, deben tratar de aprender ya que destos encuentros siempre se adquieren nuevas experiencias.
The wily old veteran hates getting upstaged by the unassuming young rookie. Especially when it's done through guile and creativity rather than skill or brute force. To do it in that manner is disrespectful to their years of experience and accumulated wisdom. This is a story as old as sports itself.
And suddenly everyone makes Bianca the best tennis player history has ever seen.. i have so much respect for her making these successes and makin her people feel proud but lets be real, she has to prove herself over the years. Kerber has, Serena, and so many others have so we just have to wait and see. Congrats to her
Bianca is such a talent; tenacious and beautiful variety of shot. These youngsters really are starting to make an impression, as evidenced by Kerber's reaction at the net. haha
It is obvious that the Kerber gets a bad temper when the same girl has defeated her in two tournaments followed, but she is also a bad loser and half dramatic, already at her age, she shouldn't feel those feelings and especially the way she shook Bianca Andreescu's hand, so rough! 🤷🏻♂️💯🎾
This new generation of tennis players are coming up now and starting to make their presence felt. It probably hurt Angie's ego that Bianca has beaten her twice in six days hence Angie's poor display of sportsmanship at the net.
Nothing happened. Andreescu just took a normal medical timeout in the first set and my feeling is that Kerber used that as a rationalization to justify her anger, frustration and poor attitude. I think Kerber believes that Andreescu is faking injury.
People on the internet are just the worst, everybody crying about the fucking handshake and zooming in on one negative thing in this match, just what the hell man? Bianca played a great match and Kerber fought well, maybe say something about the match? and don't bitch about something super irrelevant to TENNIS.

Slightly odd jumps/omissions in this video.... Regarding match - not sure what happened but a disappointing comment from Kerber at the end. Looked like fairly high quality match albeit some injuries. Loving the variety Andreescu is bringing. Actually seeing a lot more variety in the WTA game at the moment. Keep it up!
A lot of the comments are anti Kerber for her behaviour at the end but in her defense, I watched the match at Indian Wells and Bianca did put forth a lot of drama and carried on a lot, looking exhausted and out of it in the third set but still pulling it through. I thought, goodness me, rooting for this girl is going to be exhausting as there are lots of ups and downs and she looks out on her feet, so Kerber is probably just thinking if someone is faking being out on their feet but then still finding the energy to win, it's a bit like bad sportsmanship. I like the way Kerber carries herself, she's quite composed winning or losing and is acting professional
Wow Kerber is so classless in defeat telling Bianca you're the biggest drama queen ever during the handshake. Pretty salty for a 3 time GS winner. Pity that she will be remembered for this classless act.
I was waiting to see the 3rd set and they changed from 1-1 to 5-1 .that was the most interesting part to be seen . Kerber is quite frustrated since Bianca won 2 times in less than 2 weeks , moreover the final in Indian Wells ..go Bianca..she is so humble i saw the press conference after Indian Wells
I still don't understand why the WTA doesn't reseed the players prior to making the Miami draw. They're literally making this draw right after the women's final in IW, so they know what the new rankings will be that Monday. The men always have the reseedijgs done. This is a match that shouldn't have happened, considering Bianca is in the top 30, which would mean being seeded, and a first round bye. She's basically being punished for winning, as she's now had to play 3 matches already. Credit to her for coming through again, but it's the cumulative effects of all these matches that worry me going forward.
The more you play tennis the better. Her not being in the top 30 was a blessing for the 18yr old. She is already warmed up compared to a player who received a 1st round bye.
@@averypatterson8402 Playing too much tennis, in a short amount of time, can wear on a player, too. She played the full 7 matches at IW, most of them going 3 sets. By winning the title, she broke into the top 30, and earned the privilege to be seeded, which meant a first round bye, and a chance for some rest. She got rest, thanks to the rain, but as a result, she's had a compressed schedule of 3 matches in 3 days (4 since this one went past midnight). It's not all about playing matches to stay fresh. It's about recovery, too. Even the best players, like a Novak or a Serena, need the rest, so it's easier to bring their best level match after match.
She is a big girl for an 18 year-old! Such strong legs and big bones all over. She might end up being bigger (thicker and muscular) than Serena and that will be something... Kerber is not happy with the moon balls and drop shots and many varieties of shot. Kerber will counter punch all day with a straight up and down hitter of the ball. She tends to lose to spinners especially on the backhand side. Bianca with a better serve will be even more potent.
There are lots of very good young player in WTA right now. If Sabalenka could just control the power that she has and more patient, if Bencic will be more consistent and if Andreescu will continue this aggressive dominant play they can follow Osaka's footstep to GS glory.

I predict a top 10 by the end of the year and maybe a Grand Slam win if she stays healthy. She has an exceptional talent. Bravo Bianca!
Shes gone the next round.
@@Askanison29 ...even if Bianca is gone in the next round, she'll be leaving Miami with a bigger paycheck than Kerber.
@@Askanison29 LOL Sure she is. Skeptics have been saying that ever since her first match at Indian Wells and how did that turn out? She won the freaking tournament.
She s cold blodded german person ppl from ghermany are like this
Well said
@@celestium77 That´s of course a pretty wild accusation/prejudice against Germans and you know it´s bullshit but yes Kerber is quite bitchy.

@ 40 Love - Kerber is just a sore loser; always has been. That sour 'handshake' was uncalled for. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if she never won another title or never make another final.
Well it’s not that humiliating when everybody else lost du her too. The age doesn’t really matter
She says 'Biggest drama queen ever' at the shaking hands
What a sore loser.

There are not too many WTA players who can play such a powerful down the line running forehand like Andreescu.
Kerber.. you may be a fighter on court but your behaviour will never make you a player everyone respects. Learn something from men's tennis. Roger, Rafa, Novak.. all are so humble in defeat and greet their opponents so warmly. That's why they are what they are.
She can learn that from the women's division. Sorry to burst your bubble.

These handshakes are nothing new for Kerber. I've seen this for years. Prime example was the handshake at the Olympics after losing to Puig.
Pomerlain89 it wasn’t just the cold handshake but the accompanying rude and sore comment.
The incident is on TH-cam.

kerbers game is so weird . she strives on fast paced flat balls, thats why she took on pova and serena in the past. but throw in a moon ball here and there n shes clueless. which is exactly what andreescu did here.
Yeah that's how counter punchers do lol
Specifically it's the moon ball to the back hand. Andreescu figured it out back in Indian Wells that not just Kerber but probably 90% of the entire WTA has no idea what to do with this shot. Every girl in the last 20 years grew up and went through the ranks hitting flat baseline forehands and that's all they know how to do. It got them this far, but it shows how one dimensional women's tennis has become when they suddenly meet someone who can completely mess them up with junk pitches.
Ishkur23 well said 👏🏻
If you take away some pace, add some moonballs, and mix it up, then clearly Kerber doesn't like it. Well played Bianca !!

Awesome, hope to see her in the final GS this year..

Bianca had 4 medical time outs! Thats too dramatic

Credit to her for coming through again, but it's the cumulative effects of all these matches that worry me going forward.
well she wasnt expecting to win Indian Wells any way, it's not as easy as it seems!
You're absolutely right, but you know, pairings always favor popular players, because they are the ones who attract people and therefore... money.
Oh man.. I'm gonna heckle Kerber every chance I get when she comes to Canada for the Rogers cup. Can't wait.
