Regardless of our answers; we may walk different paths but let us not forget that despite being unable to make our ultimate goal a reality, the journey we tread and experienced was. Depends on when you are in your life. I dont think id chose love over a good career before 25. However, i did get married and he was the one who encouraged me to follow a rewarding career path. I dont think you need to sacrifice anything but realistically speaking, i wouldnt go ahead and get hitched when I barely know what I want for myself

Correct me if i’m wrong but is my perspective , basically this story in the mv is about two people falling in love. The girl feeling to be with him and stay by his side when he continuously drawing. At the part where he was drawing his gf and the pencil break he realise he should be focusing more on his work instead. This is the part where it become rocky (?) and he realise he couldn’t give her the love she want even when she never ask for it. Hence the breakup. When she saw his work she cry and she met someone who care about her and love her and repair her broken heart. The guy regrets but is too late because she won’t come back and he have to focus on his work even if he felt this way. The message here is that often times, we will be presented with choices that will define and shape our future. In this instance, he chose to follow his passion of painting instead of reciprocating her love and ended up loosing her. Once he was satisfied with what he had accomplished, he finally turned back to reciprocate that love, but she was already gone. Time waits for no one, and enough time passed that she moved on to be able to be happy. EDIT: The paint stains on his hand at the end as her hand over his disappears is a reminder to him of what he chose and what got away.

How should i say this, i have mixed feeling about this. Don't get me wrong it's a great song, it's just the meaning of it strikes hard. Dream or Love? I at the very least still admire those story about true love and stuff. I know it's naive and twisted in a way probably against my standing as a realistic people (at least i believe i was one). Also there's a lot of variable factor that could expand your way of life, to the bitter or the happy end. From what I see, Both the girl and the boy loved each other. But the boy didn't found "The Thing" he wanted to achieve/obtain in relationship with the girl. So this factor is relationship goal. There's also a matter of personality. There's an idiom that goes like this, "Peoples without dream are nothing but hollow shell, but people who obsessively chase their dream will lose everything". It's clear to me that the boy is a childish person, and I could tell, by the end of his road, he will regret on his decision. He would definitely regret the decision of abandoning his loved one, to pursue his dream. That's one of many factors. There's also the girl. She kinda remind me of my ex-girlfriend. She said to me "I would stand by your side no matter where you", before eventualy she left me. That girl is the same. She has no conviction, commitment, and willpower. Don't get me wrong, i'm happy to see her having family now(at the end of the animation). But that's not how true love work. True love speak not only to happiness, but also the bitterness of life. She seek to be happy with the boy. But cannot stand to the bitterness with or without him. She chose to find another person. That girl have the very right. But whatever it is, its not true love. So truly, there's a lot of things that could change your viewpoint of love and true love.

But lemme tell you about what I knew. For example, PHILIA. It's a love you have for your best friend(men and women), as if they're your own family. There's also "AGAPE" a type of love which you could define as Love without condition, old, young, same race or not, same gender or not. A Love which wouldn't think twice about sacrificing ownself to his/her loved one. There's also EROS. A type of Love spesificly used to define someone interest in other person through lust of gender differences. Now if we talking about True Love. Christian teaches that AGAPE is True Love. But, if we talk about the video we seen here. I used EROS on the women, and PHILIA on the men. The women clearly love him as someone she would love to have as a family, meaning she want to marry him, have children with him, etc, etc. And the Men love for her is PHILIA. A love only for a best friend. While the men, love his dream as AGAPE. He love his hobby, dream and talent so much, he give no shit about sacrifing someone feeling for him. Now this is the problem. Both the men and the women, from the very begining, doesn't shows any sign of True Love/Agape. They only shows EROS(woman) and PHILIA(men) towards each other as affection. HOWEVER, I cannot deny that through time, being together with someone, you could grow those feeling and want to deeply cherish someone who love you(no matter what type of love it is) and it could become AGAPE/True Love. That's why i kinda disappointed with the men, for his ambition. That's why I used an idiom of "Human without dream(ambition) is nothing more than an empty or hollow shell, but Human who ambitiously chase his dream will lose everything else, meaning at the end of the road, he/she would found nothing left belong to him except regret".

there’s a verse that says “I have feelings of regret” It’s really somehow ruthless the way reality works, I was also in a situation like him, where if I didn’t chose one I’ll destroy both and so I chose one but I still felt guilt and regret inside doubting whether I was happy or not
This is a piece of art. I like how they portrayed the story of two people in a short way. It also showed how reality not always goes how you wanted it to.
Every time I watch this, there is an unknown force that drag me out of present and make me zoned out. How nostalgic!! Me, my dreams, love, the things around me are the past, the present and the future. Each thing is connected to me. Which ever is empty, you will be on the losing end.
In my opinion, it's okay to choose both. The important part of choosing is learning. If you make a choice, just think carefully and calmly, and if you make a mistake, learn from it. Besides, for me, love shouldn't be a hindrance to a dream. It should be the engine that drives the person towards his goal, and achieve it with the love of his life.

Hi! I just think that doing both isn't so bad. Balancing love and your studies is quite a rough road since you have to invest time in both. However, it's sweet and worth it in the end. PS: If your partner is ambitious, and that he/she supports you (and works on his/her own career, too), then it'll be a little less rough :)

Quarantine recommending me masterpieces I haven't known of yet. But damn, the story is just bittersweet.
How should i say this, i have mixed feeling about this. Don't get me wrong it's a great song, it's just the meaning of it strikes hard. Dream or Love? I at the very least still admire those story about true love and stuff. I know it's naive and twisted in a way probably against my standing as a realistic people (at least i believe i was one). I probably going to find the answer in a few year and which side i am going to be. Either way thanks for the nice song.

Also there's a lot of variable factor that could expand your way of life, to the bitter or the happy end.
From what I see, Both the girl and the boy loved each other.
But the boy didn't found "The Thing" he wanted to achieve/obtain in relationship with the girl.
So this factor is relationship goal.
There's also a matter of personality.
There's an idiom that goes like this, "Peoples without dream are nothing but hollow shell, but people who obsessively chase their dream will lose everything".
It's clear to me that the boy is a childish person, and I could tell, by the end of his road, he will regret on his decision.
He would definitely regret the decision of abandoning his loved one, to pursue his dream.
That's one of many factors.
There's also the girl.
She kinda remind me of my ex-girlfriend.
She said to me "I would stand by your side no matter where you", before eventualy she left me.
That girl is the same.
She has no conviction, commitment, and willpower.
Don't get me wrong, i'm happy to see her having family now(at the end of the animation).
But that's not how true love work.
True love speak not only to happiness, but also the bitterness of life.
She seek to be happy with the boy.
But cannot stand to the bitterness with or without him.
She chose to find another person.
That girl have the very right.
But whatever it is, its not true love.
So truly, there's a lot of things that could change your viewpoint of love and true love.

but when the guy realized that he focused on love more than his childhood dream -(the moment when he was drawing his gf and the pencil broke)- he decided to break up with her to concentrate on his career ,
so the girl had no choice other than to leave him so that she won't be a burden to him , and as seasons change she will eventually find another guy that helps her realize her dream as well
Years later , when she saw that he realized his own dream she felt happy for him and also relieved that at least they didn't broke up in vain -(that's when she cried at the end of the mv)-
But tbh , I can't blame them , the boy has his own dream (drawing) , the girl has her own dream (having a family) , they found that they couldn't realize each other's dream so they decided to give up........
Even tho they regretted it later when they matured but if you asked them if they go back in time what will they choose ? They will certainly choose the same path over and over again

Honestly, (since i'm a rather religious person) I knew that love came with many form. So talkin' about love could be a bit of an argument.
But lemme tell you about what I knew.
For example, PHILIA.
It's a love you have for your best friend(men and women), as if they're your own family.
There's also "AGAPE" a type of love which you could define as Love without condition, old, young, same race or not, same gender or not.
A Love which wouldn't think twice about sacrificing ownself to his/her loved one.
There's also EROS.
A type of Love spesificly used to define someone interest in other person through lust of gender differences.
Now if we talking about True Love.
Christian teaches that AGAPE is True Love.
But, if we talk about the video we seen here.
I used EROS on the women, and PHILIA on the men.
The women clearly love him as someone she would love to have as a family, meaning she want to marry him, have children with him, etc, etc.
And the Men love for her is PHILIA.
A love only for a best friend.
While the men, love his dream as AGAPE.
He love his hobby, dream and talent so much, he give no shit about sacrifing someone feeling for him.
Now this is the problem.
Both the men and the women, from the very begining, doesn't shows any sign of True Love/Agape.
They only shows EROS(woman) and PHILIA(men) towards each other as affection.
HOWEVER, I cannot deny that through time, being together with someone, you could grow those feeling and want to deeply cherish someone who love you(no matter what type of love it is) and it could become AGAPE/True Love.
That's why i kinda disappointed with the men, for his ambition.
That's why I used an idiom of
"Human without dream(ambition) is nothing more than an empty or hollow shell, but Human who ambitiously chase his dream will lose everything else, meaning at the end of the road, he/she would found nothing left belong to him except regret".
