Jimin and V are the same age (born in 95 Jimin - October and Taeyhung Dec) and they are 2 years older than JK born in 97. Tae just has a really young, childlike quality to him that makes him seem younger….which is adorable. My beloved Jimin is the oldest (huang) of the maknae (youngest) line.
One of the things that hurt me in his debut, especially with RM, is that many haters told him he was ugly and he always wore dark glasses or other types of glasses to hide himself even though he didn't need them. Practically the 7 went through difficult things: Jimin his extreme diet with only 3-4 hours to sleep because he rehearsed until he was tired and then they went to school and had their activities as a group, V being away from his parents and trying to adapt, Suga composing and working part time to be able to eat and continue with his dream, RM also composing to exhaustion and facing the attacks on himself and the group, being a great leader (he received the hate messages and translated them as messages of support and encouragement for the boys not to be sad), Jin giving his best to show that he is a talented boy and not just the visual of the group and giving everything for his hyungs even paying for their food due to the company situation, Hobi also facing the hate because they said it was ugly, JK being the smallest, the 7 going through that hard stage that we all went through growing up. I am very moved that they managed with effort, dedication, sweat and tears, overcome difficulties and shine each one with their own light, shine like BTS and illuminate so many ARMY around the world.

Actually Korean music show is not like x factor or got talants series. It's more like weekly music glimpse show. K pop stars released music, they promoted for few weeks to perform on music show. It's like promote show. And scores like billboard chart, with physical sales, streaming sales, air play count and vote. X factor or something like that show is another genre.

If they win, it kinda indicates that the song is a hit. It's not like American Idol - there are other Korean Competition shows like that. There are competition shows between individuals to become members of a group, and shows like 'Kingdom' or 'Queendom' that are mlti-week competitions between established groups - it gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent more and gain additional fans.

Idk if you already know these but the cutesy gestures and actions or manner of speaking are kind of part of the kpop(if not, korean in general) culture. It's called "aegyo". You will see that they(kpop idols) do that a lot, especially as part of fan service. It's kinda cringey at times tbh, but you get used to it. And it kind of suits them honestly. 😅
Jungkook doesn’t really like to show when he’s tired. Honestly the only time i’ve ever seen him exhausted from dancing was in one of their Documentaries, jungkook went all out because he felt bad he couldn’t dance for awhile and he almost blacked out :(

actually, bts raised the bar for kpop. they had unusual amazing choreo and charisma. most rappers at that time were not acknowledged as rappers because they became rappers bc they were bad at singing, not because they had passion for rap and such. that’s why idol rappers were very disrespected at that time. but bts, rm and suga came from underground and jhope proved himself to be a rapper. bts normalized many things, kpop wasn’t all so perfect
