El Salvador should've won in 1955 but the organizers wanted the European and American girls to win first before letting someone from Latin America take the crown. After that, they let an Asian win and then anything goes.
1955-Maribel Arietta is Miss Universe aura and poise 1975-Carmen Elena Figueroa is Lucky because the pageant was held in her country, But i find her that she is deserve to be there, i like her swimsuit in the preliminary and in the Top 12 round 1995-Elena Carillo is a big surprise, because of after 1975, finally El Salvador made it to the Top 10, she deserves to be there 1996-Milena Mayorga, the second Iconic Miss El Salvador after Maribel Arietta 2023-Expected to be in the Top, but she proves that she deserve to be on the Top 20, then really deserve to be in the Top 10 and even top 6.
To my Central American Neighbors, you guys have greater chances of future placements at Miss Universe now that you have a new National Director. Magali Febles will transform Pagentry in El Salvador better than ever. From a Chapín to all Guanacos, keep it up. 🇬🇹❤🇸🇻

I'm shock El Salvador only have 5 placements 1955 Maribel is the best ones maybe someday just like Panama and Nicaragua they might have win the title crown.
