TL2354 the internet is the only reason I've got back into following pro-wrestling. I hadn't watched since 2000, got into MMA, but started watching again in 2014 after some CM Punk videos popped up on my TH-cam feed.

People say Talk is Jericho is the best wrestling podcast out there. As good as Y2J is at everything, I prefer listening to Art of Wrestling. Colt Cabana's podcasts just float and are soooo easy to listen too. Plus Colt is hilarious. Keep up the good work. :)

There's an argument to be made that these guys drawing 2000, 4000, 10000 to a non-WWE show is more impressive than the boys & girls in the Fed doing a show in front of 20000+. The Fed is the draw for those 20k, not the wrestlers, so they came to see the spectacle of the show as much as the wrestlers on the show. Whereas with Omega & The Bucks, people go to shows to see them; if they weren't on the show the crowd would most probably be a bunch smaller. ie, they're legit draws in a day & age when that is rare.

It's weird they say they make no money with the show. They're not on TV weekly like WWE, the show builds characters and enhances the product. So yes, they are making money off the show..

If only Colt was actually this engaging and nice in person to his fans who spend money to meet him. It's going to be a bit more difficult to enjoy his pod going forward after meeting him. He could not have been less interested in fan interaction despite participating in a MEET AND GREET...for CHARITY.
In the context a fan meet and greet? C'mon man, If he was having that bad of a day he shouldn't have participated in something that required fan interaction. His responses to "I'm a huge fan, thank you for coming" and "I'm a Chicago native myself, looking forward to visiting the PWT Store" were one worded and he avoided eye contact. Couldn't have acted less interested. I wasn't the only person who experienced this and as a result, his table didn't attract many people.
I can only go off of my personal experience, and that of those around me. Yes, if you're doing a meet and greet, it's bad form to act disinterested and aloof. Especially when, as I mentioned, he had maybe 10 fans walk up and was out at his table for maybe only 20/30 minutes tops.I'm happy you had a good experience, I wish mine was more like yours, I love his podcast have enjoyed his work since the 2nd City Saints days. Instead, myself and some of the people and I was with spent 20$ to be made to feel like we were boring/ bothering him at a Charity MEET & GREET session. It unfortunately made for a pretty lasting negative impression, and the only positive part of the experience was knowing that my money is going to help people who need it in Puerto Rico.
If you're talking about saturday....
Thursday I flew to LA from Chicago at 4am. Friday I Flew to San Fransisco and wrestled. Saturday I woke up at 3 am to fly across the whole united states from San Fransisco to Ft Lauderdale. Literally went from the airport to the meet and greet and then did 4 hours of commentary. You're welcome to think what you want, but unless you bring up something that upsets me, i'm always self aware to know not to be a dickhead. Sorry you had such a bad experience.
