Glad it's been helpful Tara, it is about mindset. I certainly find I have moments where it doesn't feel easy, but I have to trust the process and know I can still learn even if the finished piece isn't how I'd like. Xx

My father...who was a wonderful artist...started doing the exact same technique of cutting some of his acrylic pieces and reconstructing into amazing works...these were some of his most successful works...im sure you will also create some amazing pieces ...I'm a huge fan of yours...

Thanks so much for this. I have a broken wrist that has stopped me making things but I can still draw and just needed a bit of inspiration. I spent the summer out drawing this year and loved it, but you have some great ideas I haven’t seen before and must try them out.

The idea of taking my sketchbook out with me and sketching is something I love, but actually doing it still feels very challenging to me. I’m not entirely sure why but I hope it is something I can overcome one day. Your exhibition looks great with all your art frames and displayed together!
Thankyou for your kind comment. It's definitely something anyone can do, just takes time and going out regularly until it becomes a normal thing to do. I have filmed another course on sketching on location and talk about building confidence, listing ways to do it. I think the link is in description. But start with a small sketchbook and one or two materials and keep it simple to begin with.
I am eyeing up the course, I know my sister-in-law & kids would love a hand made advent calendar. And.. because it was so beautiful.. what autumn treasures you found Mel!
