For containment construct and a wheel effect, you would get a trigger on the stack for each card you discard, then you may choose for each card whether you want to exile it, so that would trigger Quintorius for each card you discarded. Truly terrifying to think about 😂.
Ok so idk if you’ve done one based on him but Alaundo the seer is so underrated. Yes he is a tap commander so people think “oh he can only untap once per turn.” The thing people always forget though is that there are cards that untap cards in blue. Intruder alarm is especially ridiculous with it.
I ran Jakob as an eldrazi commander for awhile. Hes very good, and I recommend adding as many three mv mana rocks that produce 2 mana as possible as it gives you a clear curve of Jakob -> mana rock -> flip Jakob turn 4. Many turn 4 Ulamogs were had. I’ve switched to the new Malcolm as the discard over exiling the card has neat synergies, but I keep all the Jakob cards handy in case I wanna build him again
i really like how Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer and Keskit, the Flesh Sculptor pair up in a unique way for reanimator strategies and gives you card advantage even if your ability to draw cards is made difficult. in my opinion, doing Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel and Prava of the Steel Legion makes one of the best aristocrats deck. i found there's enough ability to punish and sacrifice but without creatures to sacrifice your not doing anything. And Nadier makes creatures with either "Not dead after all" and/or "Ephimerate" because it doesn't matter how he "leaves" the battlefield he makes creatures. But you need Prava to get him started.
One of the best cards to combo with Grothama is Mossbridge Troll. Tap Grothama in response to its trigger to pass the Troll some steroids *(+20/+20)* and draw 25 cards. It's like Fight Club, but every fight is hilariously rigged and the (road)house always wins
Calls Darksteel Myr useless. Me bulking my DS Myr to a 9/10 in my Urtet deck and watching my friends question using Blasphemous Act. It’s always funny when that little guy is my last creature on board and is stacked with counters.
@@dr7melee I’m predominately artifacts, I have three artifact centric decks, and a few others like Dino’s, dragons, and wizards. So for me indestructible and hexproof are a common thing.
@natelagrassa9337 I know, right? Damia is a value commander, you set up vague value, then the table s***s a collective brick and next game you get pummeled silly because Poisinous Sliver/ Shadow Sliver are cards that exist.
Detective Hauken is so fun. I have a deck with him that does NOTHING!!! Just drops out random shit and the rest is filled with absurd blue stuff you never really see
In concept, Ertai is awesome, but on practice, it is WAAAAAAY too slow. You're on Esper, wich is not very strong on ramp. Aristocrats is already an "set-uppy" archetype, add the fact that your commander costs 5, does nothing on the first turn it enters, cost 7 if removed, AND if it didn't get removed AND is able to stick for a turn cycle, you are probably not going to have fodder until then to counter stuff. Don't judge me, I tried to make it work and it was miserable.
I built mine as Zombie tribal. Tue commander was incidental, rather than necessary. Late game, it gave me protection for my big spells, as well as being a sac outlet.

Id like to point out Eloise, Nephalia Sleuth as well. The value is insane

I like the idea of attacking my Grothama with all my creatures with Vigor in play. Vigor not really budget friendly though.

Big fan of esper (I'm currently building queza) eriti seems like the next esper one to make

Grothama works great with stuffy doll.
Damia + Dream Halls could be really freaking good
I love Guile so much. I have it in several decks :-D
I love this video. More of these please!
I never realized Nin is from an unknown plane... hope we go there soon.

In my playgroup they just play to often Toxic deluge, meathook, swords or reality shift so indestruct. is not really a thing...

I love my mono blue JAcob Hauken deck, such a fun deck
I got Ertai from way back. Great card!
I use Zombie infestation in my Anikthea deck. It’s so much fun.
Damia is amazing as a Sliver commander no one sees coming (the first time). Ramp, set-up like a normal Sultai deck, Sliv'sposion goes off, game.
Not gonna lie that’s pretty crazy cause aggro use to suck at card advantage… that’s brilliant.

I uave quintorius but i found it can makes a lot of tokens or not at all if you are drawing the wring side of hiur dexk
Damia is a deck I have been wanting to make for a long time, just couldn’t figure out what to do with it

I made a Jacob Hauken Cedh deck. Works great!
My Ishkana token deck is starting to feel terrifying.
I prefer Ertai Wizard Adept. He just taps to counter spells.
Wouldnt the ox Bring you two Spiritus the 8 cards and additional the oxleaving your graveyard
I am wondering too
I attempted to build a quintorius field historian on arena brawl.
Slap indestructible and deathtouch on Grothama and watch table flip their shit 💀
