"Rafting" are recreational outdoor activities which use an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water. This is often done on whitewater or different degrees of rough water. Dealing with risk is often a part of the experience.
This was my first river rafting experience in Coorg, as a non swimmer & new to the water rafting I was a bit skeptical and to be honest a bit scared too but the entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable. It's best for beginners like me since the rapids aren't as strong & wild as compared to Rishikesh but strong enough to lift you from your seats and take you for a spin. You also get to swim in the banks of the river Cauvery. The rafter (Rajesh) was very helpful and patient. The total length of the rafting was roughly 7 Kms, during which you encounter 5 rapids and it costs around Rs.600 Per Person. You also get your photographs clicked by the rafter which is chargeable (Rs.1200 Per Raft). On the whole it was a frolicking experience and we had a great time.
