Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a real-time strategy video game developed by EA Los Angeles and published by Electronic Arts.It was released on October 28, 2008 in the United States for Microsoft Windows and October 30, 2008 in Europe. An Xbox 360 version was released on November 11.
Like the previous entries in the Red Alert series, the game is set in an alternate reality from World War II, in which the Western Allies fight the Soviet Union.
In Red Alert 3 the Soviet leadership, facing defeat, goes back in time to kill Albert Einstein and prevent his assistance to the allies, paving the way for Soviet domination in the present. However, as an unintended consequence, a third world power, the Empire of the Rising Sun, is created and all three sides go to war.
The three factions are playable, with the gameplay involving constructing a base, gathering resources and training armies to defeat other players. Each faction has a fully co-operative campaign, playable with either an artificial intelligence partner or with another player online. - เกม

Word of advice, you don't want to put your big reactor near the little ones because if they get to it or use faction powers to blow it up you risk loseing all your power plants, keep the big ones spaced around so it's near impossible to get them all at once.

I’m not a fan of RA3, but I’ll admit the voice lines are pretty good. “I once was professor” and “what’s that dripping sound” always crack me up.

Enjoyable and informative, as a raw begginer there was plenty to learn from this but I suppose to get anywhere close to the speed of the engagements can only come from practise. Great vid thank you.

@@zoom3000 RA2 is an unbalanced mess that's why I like RA3 better and consider C&C3 the best in the franchise. But the sheer crazy bullshit that is the SP campaign alone was amazing
I might not be correct but EA nuked the studio and replaced them with one of EA's studios before Westwood could even touch it.

Different game, but also a good game in its own right. Still can't help but miss the flavorful units like Giant Squid, Aegis Cruiser, Destroyer Ospreys, Rocketeers, Sea Scorpions...

Try Uprising with Rising Sun brutal AI, they sending bunch of Giga Fortresses
"Competent AI" in an RTS is actually "cheating AI".
@@JABelms Brutal AI in RA3 is not only cheating but also has flawless micro and map hacks, it also hunts down poorly defended units as soon as you move your camera away

@@JABelms That's a complete lie, cheating AI is the easy way out for lazy developers to simulate difficulty spike and cut development costs.
SC2 has custom player made AI that makes even the Korean pros look like complete noobs in a fair and square mach.
The thing is it's development required 7 whole years and several programmer teams to make it what it was, with 'logical thinking', and 'evolving responses for each and every individual unit on the map'- and let me tell you no studio in it's right mind is willing to spend more than 3 weeks in the development of RTS AI with script that's half as big as the entire game itself.

I'm pretty sure that the music is directly in the game, though that is a good point. But yeah, the creators of the game were very theatrical with the sound design.

the mech head break the game make RA3up a total sky combat, I hate that when you can keep build that. same for AC130 when it does not need to land to refill. while soviet once the king for ground combat lose it completely. RA3 is much balance, rising sun has the mobility, allied own the sky, soviet dominates the surface.

Glad I found your channel, all the old feels for RA2. Decided to watch this since it was a bit different.... All I could think the entire video "Wow... I forgot how much I despise this POS franchise ruiner... I may actually hate it more than Tiberium 4." :P Still, great job as usual. Keep up the good work.
Unless it's mod you have units from the other version with commander challenges
The game commander challenges is only for consoles. On pc, we have RA3 : Uprising and in this one, you can play like in RA3 but with the new units

Don't be bias RA3 are good game,and it didn't deserve too many hate.
I knew many westwood fan are not satisfied with RA3 but,if you open your mind you will see this game isn't bad.
In my opinion they are disappointed with this game because it is really different from Red Alert 2. But as a game itself, it is just fine.

@@zoom3000 It was ok, but they definitely tried to up the game's pace a lot and stopped it feeling like an RA game. But that's just the thing though, If I want to play something closer to Starcraft's pacing, why not play Starcraft instead? I still play RA2. RA3 seems a bit redundant.
On ps3 you can only have 50 units. That was a bit of a let down. Units had options I didn’t understand. Not many friends who played this game. Will play it again soon.

In reality, it's basically RA2 with inspiration taken from starcraft to give it more depth, like abilities on units and factions being more unique when compared to each other.

RA3: where they spent way too much money on big-name actors and beautiful water instead of making an actually good game.
The AI behaves diffrrently from its old predecessor - so also has different cheese behavior, they don't attack move as much and just run to die without firing
also Shogun battleship is much weaker compared to other flagships

@@zoom3000 The bunker was actually used in a very annoying way offensively in PvP back when online servers were still alive. You would send a twinblade that has an engineer, natasha and flak troopers in it near the enemy base, build a bunker on a high ground near the enemy base or outpost where enemies can't get to easily and fill it with flak troopers and natasha. The bunker extends the range of natasha so she can destroy buildings and attack units from a ridiculous distance and the flak troopers would basically take care of the air units and tanks while natasha can deal with infantry. if the enemy is trying to send an air strike, quickly abandon the bunker so the units inside don't die and build a new one. Pretty situational but effective tactic.
Red alert its still better than red alert 3 proof me wrong
