You can download it for free, I just found it the other day pretty easily, you just need a patcher to run it really. My "First Decade" game disc didn't last the 15 year ordeal of time.

Hey zoom can you help me config my systeem to Play ra2. Keeps crashing, blackscreen issue and not able to Play on 1280p
try for first move the regular things like:
left click on Yuri.exe file (in your game folder) > properties >compatibility >change run as windows xp service pack 3
Go to your game folder > Search for "RA2.ini" file and edit the "Video" options like that:
[Video]
VideoBackBuffer=no
ScreenWidth=1440
ScreenHeight=900
StretchMovies=no
*you can change it to any other resolution you want, i think 1440x900 is the best, but its for ur chooise
*If you dont have the line "VideoBackBuffer=no", just add it for a smoother game.
*If you have Yuri's Revenge expansion, do the same with "RA2md.ini" file.
@@zoom3000 nope no luck. Dit everything you said. When I use a higher res then 800x600. I can move my mouse just at a part of the screen. Not the whole screen. Like I cant use the build menu.

Exactly my thoughts. I get it you want to coordinate the nuke with kirov/other attack but it'd at least slow the AI a bit

Better than star wars empire at wars
Different styles of games. Empire at war is a more grand scale control the galaxy with quick little rts battles on land and space with no base building. Apples and Oranges as they say. Both excellent games though
I always do this shit but I've never been able to win as the Soviets against 7 Brutals. It can be done easily as Yuri or the Allies. Kudos man, nice challenge. With the Allies you can simply abuse mirage tanks for an invincible defense, Soviet's don't have much in the way of defenses, or it's more that they require a lot more micro-management.
Edit: Just realized this wasn't yuri's revenge. lol

Your Perimeter defense is ineffective , your units are cramped up , have 2 flak cannons positioned in north south east and west with 3 flak trucks on each respective positions, you suffered considerable damage from robot tanks infiltrating from the back , should have reinforced that route earlier either with bunkers with sentry guns, and always keep a dog or 2, i always have them protecting my war factory and barracks.

vs 7 brutal with no oil refineries is the fastest way to hate this game :v

@@dinhthangpham372 you just have to wait until everyone runs out of money, thats the way I do it. But of course it works only with no superweapons. Or in Tiberian Sun as GDI, because you can build a firestorm base defense.
